1. Zweck / Ziel:
Die Bestimmung der Ericson - Härte dient zur Beurteilung der Oberflächenhärte einer
Beschichtung.
2. Beschreibung des Verfahrens:
2.1) Prüfgeräte
Ericson Prüfstab Type 318 (Spitzendurchmesser 0,75 mm)
2.2) Durchführung
Es wird am Prüfstab die geforderte Prüfkraft eingestellt. Danach wird ein Kratzer mit einer
Länge von 100 mm auf dem beschichteten Prüfblech erzeugt.
2.3) Auswertung
Die maximale Federkraft (in N), bei der der erzeugte Kratzer nicht bleibend sichtbar bleibt
stellt das Endergebnis dar.

a coating for the evaluation. 2. Description of the procedure: 2.1) testing sets Ericson probe
type 318 (over-all diameter 0.75 mm) 2,2) execution at the probe the required test load is
stopped. Afterwards a scratch with a length is produced the test sheet metal coated by 100
mm on. 2.3) analysis the max. spring action (in N), with that the produced scratch remains not
lasting visible represents the final result.
