- Pollution.
I.Objective: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use “do/ don’t; should/ shouldn’t”talk
about the environment.
1. Vocabulary: - throw (v), - pick (v), - damage (v),
- keep off (v), - save (v). - collect (v),…
2. Grammar: - Commands: Don’t......../ Do.....; Should …./ Shouldn’t…
III. Techniques: – Eliciting, guessing, pairworks and groupwork.
IV. Teachings aids: - Textbook, pictures, overhead, powerpoit lesson plan,…
V. Teaching Procedures:
Teacher's and Student’s activities Contents
1.Warm up:
- T asks Ss to play a game: “Noughts and
Crosses”.
- Ss play the game in two groups.
2. Presentation:
- T explains the first sentence at B2 (We
can help the environment by following
these rules.), asks Ss some question. Then
elicits some new words:
a. Teaching vocabulary:
- T uses gestures, pictures, and explanation
to elicit some new words:
- Ss take note.
b. Checking vocabulary:
- T asks Ss to read aloud the word that T
make it tobe disappared.
- Ss read after Teacher do.
3. Practice:
- T introduces the new lesson using
pictures (p.170).
- Have Ss read the rules in B2 and match
them with the pictures.
- Ss work in pairs.
- T introduces the situation of the dialogue.
* Noughts and Crosses:
plants water the air
power wild animals the oceans
forests coal trash
* Questions:
1. Where does the pollution come from?
2. How can we help the environment?
* Vocabulary:
- throw (v) nÐm, phãng, liÖng
- pick (v) h¸i hoa, ng¾t hoa
- damage (v) (= harm): lµm h¹i, thiÖt h¹i
- keep off (v) tiÕp tôc ra khái, gi÷
- save (v) cÊt gi÷, b¶o vÖ
- collect (v) thu nhÆt, dän dÑp, lîm lÆt

Lan: We shouldnt leave our trash.
Ba: What are we going to do ?
Nga: Put it in a trash can.
Nam: There arent any trash cans
Lan: Then we should put it in a bag and take it
home.
