I. AIMS
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read and
understand the text abut the activites using adverbs if frequency
and simple present tense
- Teaching aids: textbook, extra board
- Anticipated problems.
II. CONTENT
1. Revision C5 P132
- Students predict: a, b, c, d, e
- Students listen and correct their predictions

2. Pre reading Networks
Have picture ride a bike fly a kite go walking
Pastimes in the country go to the
lake
Play games
Go to the moutain go camping go to the
river
Pre teach:
(to) wear: mặc, đi, đeo
- Clothes: mặc quần ỏo
- Boots: đi ủng
A stove cỏi lũ, bếp lũ
Overnight: qua đờm
(to) like –Ving thớch (làm gỡ đú)
Checking: R&R
3. While Reading C6 P132
- Teacher models (once or twice)
- Students repeat chorally and individually
- Comprehension quesetions: a→f P133

4. Post reading:
Tranformation writing: from the text C6 P132
- For weaker students: chagne “Minh” to “I”
- For strange students: change the
information and change “Minh” to “I” and use networks for new
ideas
Example:
- Weaker students: I like walking. On the
weekend I often go walking in the mountain. I usually go with
two friends…
- Stronger students: I like… On the weekend
I often… I usualy go with…. Me and my friend always wear …
and we always take… sometimes we….
