As an English-majored student of An Giang University, I had an opportunity
to study and work at An Giang Radio-Television Station for my internship course.
During the period of internship, I had a great chance for me to practice my English
knowledge, learn many useful skills such as translator, listening and working group
skills and worrk in real enviroment, it is very necessary for my future jobs.

First of all, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to An Giang RadioTelevision Station for creating a good working environment for me to complete my
internship.
Secondly , I would like to send my special thanks to my supervisor, Ms.
Phung Thi Kim Ngoc- the manager of the Satellite Room, who helped me to
broaden my experience and expertise, allowing us to identify what we missed and
wanted to learn during our internship. Beside that, I want to thanks all staff of ATV
who is very friendly. They always support to me during the course.
Thirdly, I am grateful to my teacher guidance, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Guong

ABSTRACT
Before complete of the study program at university, students must a practice
internship. Practical internship is part of the bachelor’s curriculum of English
Language. This is an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in the field
to a professional working environment, so I think that internship is a great
opportunity for me to show myself and accumulate more experience for future job.
My internship report will focus on three main part. It begin with I will
introduce general information about An Giang Radio – Television Station and some
information about Satellite Team Introduction. Next, I will describe about the
process of practice at An Giang Radio – Television Station. In short, the conclusion
and suggestions will be presented at the end of the content.

An Giang Television Station actively coordinates with units inside and
outside the province to implement interactive programs with community
audiences such as “Artist and An Giang”, “ATV Warm Shelter”, “An Giang
hometown”…
2 History of ATV
An Giang Radio - Television Station (ATV) was established on September

2, 1977 as a Radio - Television Station in An Giang province. ATV belongs to the
People's Committee of An Giang province.

On September 2, 1977, at 5:00 pm, the first radio program of An Giang
Radio was established and broadcast on AM 1170 Khz in the area of Long
Xuyen town - now Long Xuyen city.

- On March 25, 1993, the Provincial People's Committee decided to rename
An Giang Radio Station to An Giang Radio - Television Station

On August 19, 1998, An Giang Radio - Television officially broadcast
television on channel 36 UHF

On January 1, 2020, the official radio coverage was to broadcast FM at 93.1
MHz frequency in the Mekong Delta area.

ATV has had 44 years in radio broadcasting and 23 years in television field
(1998), with the broadcasting time from several hours per day up to 13 hours of
radio broadcasting and 24 hours a day of television broadcasting.
Over 40 years of establishment and development with many stages, atv has
achieved achievements such as The Labor Order(third class), The Labor
Order(second class), flags for “The excellent emulation Unit” and certificates of
merit of higher authorities and PPC.

II.

Satellite Team
1. Overview of Satellite Team

Satellite Team is one of the part of Program Deapartment. Threre are four
staff in ST, they translate world news from English to Vietnamese. Their duty is to
exploit breaking news around the world and broadcasts four lanmark time for daily
5:45am, 11:15am, 6:30pm and at 10:00pm.

The staff who work in Satellite Team have good skills and experience in the
field of translation. They watch and listen to world news in English and then they
have to translate it into Vietnamese.

2. How an international news is made
World news is gathered from sources such as NHK channel of Japanese,
CGTN channel of China, and Al Jazeera channel of Arab. It is the latest news about
economy, social and cultural, events, the political situation in the world and sport.
Next, staff will translate news from English into Vietnamese. After that,
these translated news will send to Editorial Team and the news will be edited. Last,
the translated texts and recorded videos will go to the Technique Team. The news is
completed before they are broadcasted on ATV channel.

CHAPTER 2: THE INTERNSHIP WORK
My internship course lasts for about 2 months, starting from February 24,
2021 and ending on April 16, 2021. I went to the office about every 1 weeks. Most
of the assigned tasks will be done in groups.

said systems for vaccine transportation and management need huge investment. he
said support will come through a 9 billion dollars vaccine of pandemic the bank
launched late last year. meanwhile, the ADB said it had offered 10 billion dollars in
emergency financial aid by December to ___ Indonesia and the Philippine where
the virus continue to spread. ___ aslo included Thailand and Maldives where the
pandemic has hit tourism hard. Asakawa said the ADB will come up with new
measures That necessary to encourage a stable economic growth and the region.

cũng cho biết việc hỗ trợ thơng qua một loại vắc-xin đại dịch trị giá 9 tỷ đô la được
ngân hàng cho ra mắt vào năm ngoái. Cùng lúc đó, ngân hàng ADB thơng báo họ

The International Labor Organization estimates that 8.8 % of global working
hours were lost in 2020 compared to before the pandemic. The Geneva based UN
Agency releases the latest estimates on Monday. The report says the loss was
equivalent to 255 million full time jobs. “ This has been the most severe crisis for
the world of work since the great depression of the 19 century. It’s impact is far
greater than Agency Global Financial crisis of 2009”.

developed Coronavirus vaccine. The country's prime minister announced on
Saturday that the product had been given the green light, was developed by the

new vaccine available internationally. The country has already sent its Sputnik VCoronavirus vaccine to a number of nations. It was approved last August but
Moscow has faced criticism for failing to fully disclose the clinical data. Health
authorities have set up various vaccination sites in the capital to encourage more
