GRAMBLING SPOTLIGHT ON STEAM (SOS) RESIDENTIAL SUMMER CAMP
JUNE 4-10 AND JUNE 11-17
GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY, GRAMBLING LOUISIANA
Students will focus on STEAM (science, technology, ELA, ACT, and math) during fun group sessions.
Sessions include:
ACT Prep (Always Come Through)
Teambuilding activities
Writer’s Workout – Writers are always right Workshop
Field trip to Sci-Port
Don’t Get Lost in/Adventures in Explorers’ Club

AHEC HEALTH CAREER AWARENESS DAY SUMMER CAMP
JUNE 5-9 IN CALCASIEU PARISH AND JUNE 12-16 IN IBERIA PARISH
Students enrolled in this program will take field trips, be trained in CPR and First Aid, and spend
classroom time participating in activities such as blood typing, taking vital signs, fingerprinting,
and more while learning about the different health careers. Scrubs and stethoscopes will be
provided for each student attending.

LOUISIANA TECH STEAM AND STEM RESIDENTIAL SUMMER LEARNING CAMP
JULY 16-22 AND JULY 23-29
LOUISIANA TECH UNIVERSITY, RUSTON LOUISIANA
STEAM and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
Students will focus on STEAM or STEM concepts and career readiness and exploration.
Career readiness exploration
Lead on Me Leadership training
Fun filled college campus trips to NSU and ULM
SciTec activities; computer lab; STEM explorations lab
