ENGLISH SPEAKING CONTEST
GROUP 9
TOPIC: SCHOOL VIOLENCE
Students spend majority of their times in schools and it has proved that school has an
undeniable effect on making and developing student’s character. As schools are
considered as the second home of students, they are struggling with lots of issues
related to students’ behaviors. So the violence at school is unavoidable. School
violence is any activity that can create a disturbance in an educational system. School violence can
also be defined as a physical or verbal altercation on the way to school, on the way home from
school, or at a schoolsponsored event that can cause physical or psychological harm to another
individual, school, or community. School violence is spread out over many complicated
relationships: students and students; students and teachers; even student’s parent and
teachers. There are many reasons leading to school violence: life style of family members,
schools or education environment, or cyber abuse. This has caused many
problems
among students, especially their mentality, health and safety, families’ faculty
of schools and residents of the community.
