What problem are we trying to solve?
We need high quality & rich catalog data to power engaging and personalized
shopping experiences across the FB ecosystem.

Sellers can’t perform updates on a product from different sources
Sellers using ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or BigCommerce may be
limited to the attributes available from the platform
Sellers may need to maintain multiple catalogs for the same products in order
to use their product data from multiple sources across FB’s offerings

In our V1, only 1 Supplementary Feed will be allowed
Supplementary Feed is attached to a Primary Feed to enhance data for one or more Primary
Feed
Supplementary feeds can only add attributes that are missing in the primary feed or override
attributes in the primary feed.
Supplementary Feed cannot create or delete an item
Supplementary Feed
Primary Feed is the main data source for the products ingested into the catalog.
Primary feed ‘owns’ the Products.
■ Products can only be created by Primary Feed
■ Products can only be deleted by Primary Feed
■ Products can be updated by Primary Feed.
