PROCEDURE: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES 1/ Warm-up : (5’) Ordering - Ask Ss to work in pair, put the sections in the correct place to complete a speech. - Give the correct answers : 3-2 -1 - Lead to the lesson. 2/ Pre-writing: (15’) Activity 1: Definition of a speech - Introduce the topic of the writing and some definitions of speech: “It is the act of delivering a formal spoken communication to an audience . A speech usually had three parts : Introduction , Body and conclusion.” - Ask Ss match the functions of each part. I. Form of a speech:. A 1.Introduction 2.Body 3.Conclusion. B A. OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to further improve their understanding about connectives , phrasal verbs and suggestions through sentence completion and suggestions making. II. PREPARATION: Extra boards III. PROCEDURE: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES 1 / Warm-up : (7’) Brainstorming.
