Aim: -To get Ss to differentiate facts from opinions through reading . II. Language content: 1.Grammar: 2.Vocabulary: - a printer, a manual, to connect, under guarantee, plug, socket. III.Techniques: - Brainstorming, bingo, T/F prediction, write it up. IV.Teaching aids: - book, pictures, realia, a cassette, tape, charts. V. Procedure: A.Greetings and checking attendance: B.Today’s lesson: T’s and Ss’ activities Content T gives a game. 1. Warm-up: Computers can help us Ss play the game. * Brainstorming:. -> Suggestions: - Learn interestingly. - Learn more quickly. - Computers are convenient / easy for keeping / storing information. - Computers are very quick in giving answers to our questions. 2. Presentation: * Pre-teach vocabulary: - a printer (picture) -under guarantee (situation) T presents and explains - a manual (realia) - a plug (realia) some new words. - to connect - a socket (realia) Ss listen and repeat,then take notes. * Checking: Bingo. T checks Ss’ vocabulary.. * T/F prediction: 1.The printer isn’t working. 2.Nam has already turned the computer on. 3.Nam knows how to connect a printer but he hasn’t.

T. asks Ss to practice . Ss work in groups. Ss checks their prediction above and then correct.. T.asks Ss to use reported speech to rewrite the dialogue.. connected it properly. 4.The manual helped them to find out the problem. 5.Mr.Nhat bought the computer in HCM city and it’s still under guarantee. 6.Mr.Nhat thinks the company wouldn’t do anything with his computer because it’s too far from his place. 3.
