Warm – Up: (5’)  Organize game: “Brainstorming” Difficulties of farmers’ life.. - Whole class + floods/ droughts/ typhoons + lack of money / clean water / electricity / … + insects destroy harvest/. 2. Pre – Reading: (10’) - Whole class - Ask Ss some questions to introduce the lesson: 1. Do you think many people move to live in the city?  Yes. 2. Why do they want to go to the city?  get (well-paying) job, get more money, better facilities, 3. What problems may happen when so many people move to the city?  overcrowded, population increase, strains on social services, … - Listen and write. - Explain vocabulary: + rural (adj) + urban ≠ rural (adj) + plentiful (adj) + struggle (n)  struggle with nature. + (to) destroy (v) + (to) increase (v) + overcrowding (n) + strain (n) + tragedy (n) + migrant (n) + (to) provide (v) + (to) create (v) 3.
