1. Product Brand introduction
iPhone, the smartphone which was developed by Apple Inc.. iPhone can
see everywhere you go because the very popular, there is a large number
people at all aged who is this product’s consumer.
2. Answer the question
2.1. Gen Z is the generation which human was born from 1997 to 2012.
According to the latest survey of Piper Sandler, Gen Z was interested in
iPhone very much. In this survey, there are about 88% of them owned an
iPhone and 90% of them were willing to buy this product in the future. The
changes in Gen Z influencing consumer behaviour is a good signal for
iPhone because they have great influence with human, in spite of older
people. Besides, many economists insist that Gen Z will control the market
in the future.
2.2. iPhone address the problem of differentiation and positioning their
product by:
2.2.1. iPhone is designed elegantly, it’s interface is easy to use, has private
console (IOS), has more feature than other product.
2.2.2. iPhone’s price is always higher than the other smartphone, of course
that the price is proportional with product’s quality and the consumer is
willing to buy.
2.2.3. iPhone doesn’t be needed tumultuous PR plan like the others, they
don’t want consumer know them through Influencer, they want consumer
know them through the comment and rate of their other consumer.
2.3. Elemental of IMC that iPhone use
2.3.1. Public Relation (PR)
iPhone don’t use PR too complex, their PR just from their consumer. Consumer
using their product, they also check the quality of iPhone, and when they satisfied
with the product, they will talk to each other. By this way, iPhone doesn’t pay too
much money for PR, they also get more reliant from their consumer.
2.3.2. Advertising
iPhone advertisement can be seen on YouTube and other social network. Because
of their company marketing strategy (Apple Inc.), iPhone doesn’t be advertised
much.
2.4. Advantage and disadvantage of E-commerce to distribution of iPhone
2.4.1. Advantage
In the E-commerce, iPhone can be sold more, the consumer can be taken care
more carefully, the revenue from selling iPhone will increase.Especially, when
Vietnam is fighting with COVID19, the consumer can buy iPhone at home and
don’t worry to go out for shopping.
2.4.2. Disadvantage
When iPhone is sold in the website, the website might be attacked by hacker.
Transfer service might got problem, and the product is shipped lately, it will
incommode the consumer.
3. Summary of the report
With the wise marketing strategy, iPhone become one of the most popular
smartphone in the world.iPhone became a symbol, a culture of consumer who
really like technology.
