By the end of the lesson, SS will be able to: -Know the names of some popular sports and pastimes in English. -Describe sporting activities and pastimes. (18’). -Have SS look at the picture and identify the names of sports in the pictures +Introduce new vocabulary swim, badminton, skip, aerobics, tennis, jog, table tennis, volleyball. - Guide ss to read the new words -Ask SS to look at the sentences and say which tense these sentences are used. + Have ss revise the structure of the present progressive tense. (10’). * Activity 1: - Have Ss listen to the tape twice A1. - Correct their pronunciations and give some questions. -Ask SS to answer the questions  What are they doing now?  What is she/ he doing?. - Look at the pictures and guess them.. -Listen and repeat the new words Chorally - individually. - SS pay attention to the structures.. - Listen to the tape. - Ask and answer.

Teaching aim - By the end of the lesson, SS will be able to ask and answer about entertaining activities. II/ Preparations. Textbook, cassette, pictures, tape III/ Procedures.
