Teddy Bear Paper Craft: Arms & Instructions
1. Cut out the Teddy Bear and its pieces. On the main character piece, make folds (away from you) along the dotted lines, including the tabs. Fold
the legs toward you and the knees away from you. Glue tab A to the back side of the Teddy Bear’s back. The character should be taking shape.
2. Put glue on the eight small tabs (four per side) that are located on each side of the top of the Teddy Bear’s head. Then glue them to the back
side of the Teddy Bear’s head. Make sure you hold each tab in place for a few seconds before you move on. Next, glue tab B to the back of the side
of the Teddy Bear’s head.
3. Cut out the arms. Keep each connected in the middle and fold in half. Bend the tabs toward you, and then glue the back sides of the arm
and glue the arms to each side of the Teddy Bear. Use the same technique to cut out, fold, and glue the ears.
Your Teddy Bear character is now complete! Place him on the edge of a shelf or table, or give him as a gift.

Cupid Card: Instructions
Print out the Cupid card and the message strip on regular paper. Using a craft knife, make the
cuts for the five slots (a-e) located down the center of the card. Make sure the slots are as wide as
the message strip because you will be “threading” the message strip through the slots.
Start by inserting the top of the message strip into slot a, from the front of the card to the back.
Continue threading the strip up the center of the card, inserting it into slot b, from the back to
the front, into slot c from the front to the back, and so on until slot e. Now, slide the strip up or
down to change Cupid’s face and his message.

Valentine’s Day Pop-Out Card - String of Hearts & Instructions

1. Print out your card and “string of hearts” on regular paper. Cut out the card and the “string of hearts.” Fold the card widthwise first,
then fold the card a second time, lengthwise. The inside of the card should feature the words “I” and “You”.
2. To create the “string of hearts,” start by folding along the first dashed line on the left so the half heart is showing like it is in the
diagram. Now, work your away along the “string” by making a fold at every dashed line. The second half of a heart should fold under
the first and so on, creating an accordion fold.
3. Once your hearts are folded, cut along the shape of the half heart on the top and the bottom of the accordion fold. Make sure
you keep it connected to all the other hearts via the right side of the fold. When you open your string, the hearts should all be
connected. You may need to trim away any extra white paper.

4. You won’t need the half heart on the left side of the string; cut it off along the fold. Now, tape or glue the left half of the leftmost
heart to the inside of the card, on top of the grey heart marker on the card. Tilt it slightly to the right before the glue dries to create a
bowing effect. Now, glue or tape the right half of the rightmost heart to the inside of the card over the other grey heart marker. Tilt it
slightly to the left. Next, neatly fold your hearts and close the card. When the card is opened, the hearts will stretch out and pop
forward.
