-i t nhõn xng làm chủ ngữ trong câu. Nó đứng trớc động từ thờng hoặc động từ tobe.

-Tính từ sở hữu đứng trớc 1 danh từ. Một mình nó khơng thể làm ch ng c.

Danh từ số ít và số nhiỊu

A-Mục đích – u cầu:

-Giúp HS biết khi nào sử dụng danh từ số ít, khi nào sử dụng danh từ số nhiều.
-Cuối bài, HS có thể áp dụng lí thuyt lm cỏc bi tp tt.

B-Nội dung bài dạy:
I- Grammar:

1-danh từ số ít : là danh từ khơng có chữ s đứng cuối từ, những danh từ có a, an đứng trớc.
2- danh từ số nhiều: có các quy tc:

Thông thờng ta thêm S vào sau danh từ sè Ýt. A pen -> pens

 Danh từ tận cùng bằng Y, trớc Y là phụ âm đổi Y --> i sau đó thêm –es. Trớc Y là nguyên
âm chỉ thêm S. a city --> cities, a key--> keys.

 Danh từ tận cùng bằng F, Fe thì đổi F hoặc Fe thành ves. a bookshelf-->bookshelves.

 Danh tõ tËn cïng bằng O, trớc O là phụ âm thêm es. Trớc O là nguyên âm chỉ thêm S. A
bamboo -->bamboos - a potato -->potatoes.

 Danh từ tân cùng bằng CH, SH, S, Z, X thì ta thêm –es Và đợc đọc là /-iz/


Một số danh từ bất quy tắc khi chuyển sang số nhiều:

- Diễn tả hanh động ,sự việc thường xảy ra ở hiện tại, hay một sự thật, một chân lý, một thói
quen.

2. Cơng thức:

(+) S + V-s,es………….

(-) S + don t/doesn t + V-inf’ ’ …
(?) Do/Does + S + V-inf…………?
 -Yes, S + do/does.
 -No, S + don t/doesn t.’ ’

*Chú ý:

S =: she, he, it, N: Vs,es/ does/ doesn’t, has.
S = I, we, you, they, Ns: V, do, don’t, have.

3.Cách viết chính tả khi thêm đuơi s, es:
-Thơng thường thêm “s” (gets up,…)

-Tận cùng: s, x, z, sh, ch theâm “es” (misses , fixes, washes, brushes,…)

-Tận cùng y trớc y là nguyên âm, ta thêm s: plays. Trớc y là phụ âm đổi y-->i sau đó thêm es.

-Tận cùng O trớc O là nguyên âm, ta thêm s: bamboos. Trớc O là phụ âm thêm es: goes.

1-Usage:

- Các trạng từ chỉ thời gian đi kèm: now (bây giờ), right now (ngay lúc này), at the moment (đúng
lúc này), at present (hiện nay) để nhấn mạnh tính chất đang tiến hành của hành động ở ngay

Notes: - Có một số động từ tận cùng bằng chữ e câm: ta phải bỏ chữ e rồi mới thêm ing vào
sau động từ. write – writing, ride – riding , drive - driving….
