Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to practice talking about the
Robinsons’ preparations for Tet.

<b>III. PROCEDURES:</b>
<b>1. Pre –Listening: (13’)</b>
- Have students answer questions:
+ What kinds of food do we have to prepare for
Tet?
+ What kinds of fruit do we have to prepare for Tet?
+ What kinds of flowers do we have to prepare for
Tet?
- Ask students to read the statements p. 124 and
guess the words to fill in the gaps.
- Explain some new words.

- Play the tape for students (2 or 3 times).

<b>2. While – ListeningWhile – Listening: (20’): (20’)</b>
- Have students listen again to check their answer.

- Ask students write what things the Robinsons have

+ Mr. Robinson: Go to the flower market to buy

+ Mrs. Robinson: Go to Mrs. Nga to learn how to
make spring rolls.
