<b>1. Warm up (7 minutes)</b>

- Give the game of “Network” to write the
work of farmers.
<b>2. Pre </b>–<b> reading (10 minutes) </b>
- Ask some questions:
+ Have you ever helped someone work on a
farm?
+ What did you do?
<i>- Today you will learn about the life on a</i>
<i>farm in the USA by reading comprehension</i>
<i>the text about Van. He is an exchange</i>
<i>student in the USA from Ho Chi Minh City.</i>
- Answer T’s questions.
- Listen to the teacher’s introductions.
- Introducing the new words and explaining

- Give some guiding questions:

- Set the scene: As we know, narrative
writing is familiar in English. Today we’ll
practice this kind of writing. Have you ever
gone a picnic? When? Where? How did
you get there? What did you do? When did
you come back home? Did you enjoy it?

beginning “It was a beautiful day …”
- Correcting some mistakes as they say.
