 Use modal “could” with “wish”, the past simple with “wish” (review), prepositions of

<b>1. Warm up (7 minutes)</b>


Teacher Students


- Give the game of “What is what”:


+ Ask each student in group 1 to write one
real situation as example “It is hot now.”
+ Ask each student in group 2 to write one
sentence with “wish” as example “I wish I
were in the swimming pool”


- Call some Ss to read the sentences aloud
and remark.


- Play the game in two teams.


- Ss in each group go to write on the board.


- Read aloud and remark.
<b>2. Review the grammar and practice the exercises (23 minutes) </b>
- We have reviewed the use of “wish” to


speak about our wishes in present. Now,


please go to write on board the structure of
it.


- In the first lesson we have learned to use
“could” with wish. Ex: I wish I could visit

<i>could with wish .</i>“ ”


- Ss write the structure on board


S + wish / wishes + S + V(QKDG) …..

- Ask Ss to retell the use of some
prepositions of time as at / on / in / up to /

understanding.

does he arrive in Singapore?


b. What time does the meeting at Raffles
Center begin and finish?

Exercise 2:


- Look at the poster of Mr. Thanh’s
itinerary.


- Answer T’s questions.
