3. While-reading:
* Task 1:
T: Ask Ss to read the passages
individually and choose the option A,B, C or D
that best suits the meaning of the italicized word.
P: read the passage csilently
T: - Advise Ss to read the passages quickly and
stop at the lines that contain the words to guess
the closest meaning.
* Task 2:
T-Check if Ss can answer the comprehension

questions in TASK 2 without having to read the
passage again. If Ss cannot, T gets them to read
the questions carefully and gives them some tips
to do the task.

talking about different postal and
telecommunication services..
- Speaking for gist and for specific information.
2. Knowledge:Speaking about some services of the post ofice and understand abou them using
these services

- Read the dialogue once first and ask Ss to
act out it.
- Go around the class to check and offer help.

T: Look for examples of requests and responses to
request in the dialouge.
3. While-speaking:
Task 2 (13m)
- Put Ss in pairs and ask them to make a dialogue
between a clerk and a customer. The customer wants
to have a telephone line installed at home.
- Go around the class to check and offer help.
- Call on some pairs to perform their conversations in
front of the class.
- Elicit feedback from the class and give final
comments.
4. Post-speaking:
Task 3(15m).
Introduce the task and ask Ss to make a dialogue
for each of the situation.

Ask Ss to work in groups of 3 or 4.
