-Elders live with the children and are taken
care off by their son.


-Asking about age, marriage. Income is


acceptable.


-A Vietnamese greets the head off the family
or an older person first, then the younger
ones.


- Groceries are bought every day.
- Tet ( Lunar New year ) is the most
important.


- Children often sleep with their parents.


<b> TASK 3</b>


There are differences and similarities
between Vietnamese and American
cultures .In America , two generations
( parents and children) live in a home. In
Vietnam, two , three or even four generations
live under one roof and Tet is the most
important in Vietnam but in America
Christmas and New Year holiday are the
most important. Vietnamese children often
sleep with their parents, American children
do not. They live in their own bedroom.
4. Comments. Students understand the lesson but they are lazy to talk. They can’t talk
without their books. The teacher try to encourage students to talk by any ways.
