THANG LONG WATER PUPPET THEATRE
Don’t leave Ha Noi without seeing a Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre show. Water puppetry
appeared for the first time in the Red River delta. The themes of the shows are usually about life in the
country and Vietnamese folk tales. The colours and movements of the puppets in the shows are really
interesting. The puppets are carved out of wood and painted with bright colours. The water and
lighting give a great view. A show lasts about an hour. The performances are given by a group of
talented actors and accompanied by a traditional Vietnamese band.
Great entertainment for all ages. You’ll be pleased you watched it.
Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre offers several shows a day. This is very popular and always busy.
