Warm-up - Asks to answer some questions. 1. Have you ever seen a fire? 2. How do you feel when you see a fire? 3. What would you do if you saw a fire? - Calls on some Ss to answer. - Feedbacks and give correct answer. 2. Before you listen - Asks Ss to look at the picture and say what is happening. - Give situation and suggested questions. 1. What do you see in the picture? 2. Who are they? 3.Where are they? 4. What are you doing? * Listen and repeat memorable, terrified, scream, replaced, gas stove, embraced, escape, protected. - Guide Ss to read the new words and meaning. - Asks Ss to underline the words related to picture and ask Ss to explain them. - Suggested answer. “Scream’’: Maybe the girl screamed when seeing the fire. 3.
