Objectives : By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: - Distinguish the uses of different verb tenses: past simple, past continuous and past perfect. - Use these verb tenses to solve communicative tasks. 2. Teaching aids: - blackboard, chalk, handouts - textbook, lesson plan B. Procedures Teacher’s activities Time Students’ activities I. Organization - T checks the number of students and asks Ss to make some class arrangement. II. Checking the old lesson - T calls on one student to go to the board and asks some questions about him/her. - T gives comments and marks III. New lesson 1. Grammar : (Past simple, past perfect and past continuous) a. Presentation - T writes some examples on the board and underline the “verb tense”. Eg: She was having a bath when I phoned. + Thì QKHT diễn tả hành động xảy ra trước một thời điển hay trước một hành động khác trong quá khứ. Eg: He had done all his homework before 9. b.
