•Tell the class that they are going to read

the text and focus on the information needed to
answer the questions. If necessary, get pupils
to work in pairs or groups.
• Give pupils time to do the task
independently. Go around and offer help, if
necessary.
•Get them to compare their answers in pairs
before giving the answers to the class. Give
explanations, if necessary.

• Tell the class that they are going to interview
two classmates about their past holidays.
•Give them the hand out paper ( see the paper
attached)
• Ask them to work in groups to discuss
and brainstorm what questions they should ask
to get the information.
• Give them time to do the interviews in
class and complete the table.
• Invite some pupils to the front of the
class to repeat their interviews.
