<b>II. GRAMMAR : in order to, so as to (= để mà …)</b>


A/ Chúng ta dùng ‘in order to + infinitive’ hoặc ‘so as to + infinitive’ để chỉ mục đích
của một hành động.


– Ex: He took an aspirin {in order to, so as to} ease the pain
– She usd a bandage { in order to, so as to } cover the wound


B/ Chúng ta cũng có thể dùng dạng phủ định với ‘in order not to + infinitive hoặc ‘so
<b>as not to + infinitive’ với ý nghĩa : để mà không … . </b>


– Ex: He opened the door quietly {in order not to, so as not to} wake everybody up.
– I write a new word many times { in order not to, so as not to } forget it.
