I .Objectives

1. Theme: Theme) 3: Community

- Transportation

2. Competences: By the end of the unit ss can describe activities, identify mean of

transportation, describe on-going activities, identify road signs.

3. Skills
Speaking

- Identify means of transportation and road signs.
- Describe on-going activities.

Listening

Listen to monologues / dialogues within 50 words for general information.

Reading

Read dialogues within 80 words for general information.

Writing

Write sentences or a paragraph within 50 words with idea /word or picture cues.

4. Grammar

- Tenses: Simple present, Present progressive.
- Modal verbs: can / can’t, must / mustn’t.
- Wh-questions: How? Where? Which? What? 
- Adverbial phrases: by bike, by bus.

5. Vocabulary: Means of transportation: car, bus, train, plane, truck, … ride ( her

bike), drive( his) car, wait for a train.

- a truck, a foot stall , to load, to unload, to take...to.
- to copy, to correct, says, a fly, a spider, to make a web.

- can, cannot = can't, one way, turn left, right, to park, go ahead, road signs, must,
mustn't, look to the left, right, dangerous, accident, warn, intersection, flow down,
discipline.

A. Objectives

* Knowledge

- At the end of the lesson students will be able to know about the present

progressive tense and talk about actions happening at present.

* Skills: Practice listening skill,writing skill, speaking skill, reading skill.

* Attitude: Help ss to have good consciousness in order to Get present
progressive positive statements, and Wh- qts with “I / she / he” to talk about
actions happening now.

B. Methods

- Model-Talk-Practice, individual work, pair work.

- Some techniques can be used: R & R, Picture cue drill / word cue drill,
Noughts and crosses.
