you tomorrow, see you later. Get Ps to do dictation using the phrases learnt in the

- Tell Ss that they are going to practise saying the

- Play the recording and ask Ss to repeat a few times.
<i><b>- Write the words Linda and night and the sentences</b></i>
<i><b>Hello, Linda and Goodnight on the board</b></i>


- Play the recording a few times and let Ss say the
words and phrases, paying attention to the target
sounds.



- Call Ss repeat again

- Play the recording more than once.

- Ask Ss look at the pictures and identify the
character in the pictures


- Play the recording for Ss to listen.


- Play the recording again for Ss to repeat each line
and clap the syllables.


- Divide the class into two. One group repeats each
line of the chant, the other clap the syllables. Repeat
the step but this time the groups swap their parts.
- Call some volunteers to recite the chants. The rest
of the class clap the syllables.


- Make a few questions to check S's comprehension
of the chant.


- Ask all the class repeat the chant to reinforce their
pronunciation

- Ask Ss to complete the bubbles individually and
then exchange their answers with their partners.
- Call on some Ss to report their answers.

- Stick the large-size sheet of paper with the chant on
page 11 on the board.


- Tell Ss that they are going to do a project.



- Ask them to write the information about
themselves. Encourage them to decorate


their cards. Get them to swap their cards in pairs.
They should look at their parters cards and describe
each other.


- Call some pupils to the front of the class and tell
the class about their partners. To make this activity
more challenging, you may ask them not to look at
the cards.

- Ask Ss to open their book on page 12 and look
at the picture.


Tell Ss that the girls in the picture are Linda and
Akio.


- Ask the questions: Who, Where, What time…


Tell Ss that they are going to look at the dialogue,
listen to the recording and repeat the dialogue
between Linda and Akio.


- Play the recording through for Ss to listen to the
dialogue.


- Play the recording again, pausing after each line
for Ss to repeat.


- Divide the class into 2 groups. Ask G1 to repeat
Linda’s part and G2 the Akio’s part.


- Check to make sure Ss can repeat and
understand the dialogue.

- Have Ss to trade their answers in pairs.


- Ask a few questions to ensure their comprehension
for the listening text.


c. Post listening:


- Have Ps play the game: Whisper

<b>a. Pre- writing:</b>


- We are going to complet the dialougues and fill the
gaps, using the pictures cues.



- Have them look at the two worked examples in the
menu. Then ask them to look at the pictures and write
the words for the greetings. Check comprehension.
b. While- writing:


- Ask pupils to do the task independently. Monitor the
activity and offer help. If necessary.


- Ask pupils to swap their answers.


- If there is time, tell pupils to work in pairs or groups,
asking and answering questions about greetings


c. Post writing:


- Get Ps to play the game: Noughts and Crosses

of the rhythm.


- Call on a group of four to the front of the class and
do the actions. The others clap their hands after the
song


- Group work. Pupils practise singing and doing the
actions in groups. Monitor the activity and help them
when necessary. Correct pronunciation Ss’ errors.
- Call on one group to perform the song at the front of
the class. The rest of the class sing the song and clap
the rhythm.


- Have class sing the song again to reinforce their
pronunciation.
