<b>Step 1: Teacher says a lot of vocabularies.</b>
<b>Step 2: Pupils repeat after teacher.</b>


<b>Step 3: Pupils do action and say aloud.</b>
<b>B. Practice</b>


<i><b>2. Match and colour</b></i>


<b>Step 1: Tell pupils to look at page 24.</b>


<b>Step 2: Pupils draw lines from each of the letters to the correct picture.</b>


<b>Step 3: Pupils can then colour the pictures.</b>


<b>C. Production</b>


<i><b>3. Count and match.</b></i>


<b>Step 1: Tell pupils to look at page 24.</b>


<b>Step 2: Pupils draw a line from the number 4 in their books to the four cars.</b>
<b>Step 3: Pupils complete the activity.</b>

- By the end of this unit, pupils can identify school things.
- Pupils can recognize English sounds and spoken words.
- Pupils can develop fine motor control.


<b>II. Procedures</b>


<b>*Warm up: Review the numbers and vocabularies.</b>
<b>A. Presentation</b>


<i><b>1. Teaching vocabulary</b></i>



<b>Step 1: Teacher teaches vocabulary: bag, book, lunch box, pencil, pencil box, rubber, </b>
and water bottle.


<b>Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words.</b>


<b>Step 3: Pupils copy down into their notebooks and repeat after the teacher. </b>
<b>Step 4: Ask a few pupils to read aloud.</b>


<b>B. Practice</b>


<i><b>2. Listen and say</b></i>


<b>Step 1: Tell pupils that they are going to learn the words for the pupil’s school things.</b>
<b>Step 2: Play CD. Pause after each word so pupils can point to the objects in their </b>
books.


<b>Step 3: Play CD again. Pupils repeat the word chorally and individually.</b>
<b>C. Production</b>


<i><b>3. Listen and find</b></i>


<b>Step 1: Say the words at random, e.g. bag, book, lunch box, pencil, pencil box, </b>
rubber, and water bottle.
