5.Tell about the place where you are living
From studying at university, I left for my family to live independently in Ha Noi. More than
one year in Ha Noi, I slowly feel the life here. There is a bit of oldness,a bit of modernity in
Ha Noi.On one side, I see an immemorial Ha Noi. Everyone wakes up really early to do
exercises, takes their dog to walk, and dances….The evenings everyone visits their friends
and drinks coffee or iced tea. The weekends we usually walk around Bo Ho and enjoy the
delicious food.One side, I see a crowned Ha Noi. People are always busy with making a
living and studying. There is even no time to sit together and have a meal. There are endless
deadlines waiting me to solve. But these opposite things make me love Ha Noi more. Here, I
have my regardful teachers and friends, and sometimes receive the help from strangers.
6. Tell about your summer holiday
Summer is my favorite season because that is the time I can rest and relax
I had some plans for this summer. But, because of covid 19, I couldn’t do everything as my
previous plan. I had to delay my summer holiday for 2 months and choose Quang Ninh
instead of Da Nang as the plan. I and my friends got to Quang Ninh by car. It took us 2 hour
to get there. We stayed at a hotel nearby Bay Chay beach. As soon as we arrived at Quang
Ninh, we were impressed by the beauty of the sunset here. The landscape is peaceful and
mysterious with the red orange color. After hours staying in the car and quite late, we went to
a famous local restaurant and had dinner with many seafood dishes. Then we came back to
the hotel to relax.In the next morning, we woke up early and went running along the beach
and around the hotel, enjoyed the beauty of the two side scenery. At 7 AM, we have
breakfast on the first floor of the hotel. At 8 AM, we were on the beach. We together swam,
built castles, gathered shells. From 10 AM, when it was too sunny to play on the beach.We
rode bicycles on the road along town to comprehend it. Until 12 PM, after having lunch, we
got in the car to come back to Ha Noi, ending our wonderful two-day trip. (Có thể thêm vài

8. Tell about the food you like to eat.
Well, I’m a food lover so this question is extremely difficult, I cannot pick just one! But if I
have to, I’d say Bánh Cuốn or steamed rolled pancakes is my favorite food that I would like
to talk about today.
Bánh Cuốn is a popular option for diners in Viet Nam. As the matter of fact, among the
well-known offerings of Saigon street food, Bánh Cuốn is consistently ranked a top choice. I
believe this dish originates from the Northern region of Vietnam, the exact date and time it
was first made are unknown but it seems hard to deny that Bánh Cuốn has been made for
years.
Basically, Bánh Cuốn looks like a soft spring roll filled with meat. However, the recipe is
much more complicated than that. You start with a steamed rice roll cooked on a pot which
is covered by a thin fabric. Until the rice roll is very thin, it will then be scrapped off the pot
with a bamboo stick. After that, the roll is filled with a mixture of pork, wood ear mushrooms,
onions, and fish sauce.
This is my favorite dish among thousands of amazing food in Vietnamese cuisine because it
is perfect enough. From the smell to the taste, everything is just enough to make your mouth
watering. This is my favorite breakfast and maybe even dinner for many Vietnamese. It is a
quick and delicious day starter.
Obviously, there’s a mixed variety of food in my country. But I guess the most popular one
would probably be pho, since Vietnam is world-famous for it. It’s tasty, cheap and available
at all hours. In some places, it costs you like 20.000dong for a steaming hot bowl of Pho.
