LESSON PLAN OF GRADE 10
Dear Alex,
You will be delighted to know Father is giving a party
to celebrate the New year. He has invited some of our
relatives and his friends to make the party a success.
I too have invited a number of my friends in the
neibourhood. Mother has asked me to tell you to come
home for the New Year celebration. I’m sure you will
be here in time to share the fun with us on that day.

HOMEWORK.
_ Ask ss to do all the exercises from the section “ Language
Focus of unit 9, 10 and 11 again”. To prepare for the
“Revision” and the 45-minute Test.

There were many Whales swimming in the ocean a long time ago. Then they were hunted and killed by Native
American tribes. They used the whale for food, oil, and other items. Seventy years ago, they were told to stop
killing them because the number of whales was so small. Now, the Native Americans were told that they could
start hunting them again. The problem was that other people did not want the whale to be killed. They told the
Native Americans that the whales should be left alone. Many people were upset. During a celebration, guards

were asked to protect the Native Americans. There were no problems. One Native American felt good about
that he just wanted to enjoy his celebration. The Native Americans wanted to do what their ancestors had done
for many years. They want to teach their children about their past. They think that it helps the group to stay
together. Other people are afraid to let the Native Americans kill the whales. They think that if too many people
start killing the whales, then there will be soon no more whales . . .

I. Aims and objectives:
-Ss will have knowledge of some kinds of music and composers
-Ss will have the love and respect of true composers and singers, pieces of music that have value of art and
deep thoughts.
* Vocabulary :Words dealing with music
* Pronunciation: Sts can pronounce correctly two consonants /s/and /z/.
* Grammar: Sts know how to use phrases of purpose with To inf., review the simple past tense to tell
biography and WH-questions.
* Teaching aids: + A tape and a cassette recorder.

+ Some pictures of some bands.
+ Some card boards and handouts.

I. AIMS:
_ Ss will know the importance of music in life and some kinds of musical instruments.
