Dear Alise,
How are you? I haven’t written to you for a long time because I was very busy.
I am very happy to talk about my house. As you know, I am living in a small flat on the
outskirt of Ha Noi. It is a nice flat there are 5 rooms in my house, two bedroom, a livingroom, a
bathroom and a kitchen
In each room we put some necessary funiture scientifically. All rooms are not big but
warm in winter and cool in summer. We love our flat because it is our warm nest. Wherever we
go, I’ll cherish our flat in my heart.
That is about our house, what about you? Do you live in a house or a flat? Tell me about
your house when you write to me.

Watching movies is one of my hobby, I have watched a lot of movies but I like most is
Titanic movie
The title of the film is Titanic. It was produced in 1997 by 20 th Century Fox. It was made by
a famous director, James Cameron. The film is about the sinking of a ship named Titanic on its
maiden voyage. It is also about a beautiful love of a young coupe. Its stars were Leonado
Dicapro and Kate Winslet. They acted very well. I also like the music and the song in the film
very much. It is so romatic.
If you have time, you should see it. I belive you will have the same feeling as me.

I often read book in my free time, I have read a lot of book but I like most “Nam Xuong’s girl”
work. It was writen by Nguyen Du. (Nguyễn Dữ)
The Story talk about a girl in Nam Xuong, her name is Vu Nuong, She was born in a poor family
in Nam Xuong. She is very beautiful, modest, she married Truong Sinh. Truong Sinh was born in
a rich family, after marriage he joined the army and Vu Nuong at home alone to look after their

children, after along time Truong Sinh come back home. A day, he was playing with his son
suddenly his son said “You are not my father” therefrom Truong Sinh thought that my wife loves
other man and evicted Vu Nuong go out home. Suffer an injustice she had suicided
The story is very interesting if you have got time, you shoud read because the story tell about
status of woman, the poor people and injustice in feudal society.

Dear Hung
In my life, I enjoyed many holidays, but I think I like having a holiday in Nha Trang
most./ But one of the holidays I like most is going to Nha Trang
Last summer I went to Nha Trang with my family. It was very interesting. We got up early
and drove to Nha Trang at 5am. We arrived in Nha Trang at 5.30 pm. After checking into the
Phuong Hoang hotel which was very near to the beach, we went swimming. The weather was
very pure and the sea very nice and clean. It was wonderful to escape the polluted air and noise
of Ho Chi Minh. We swam for about two hours and then we came back to the restaurant for
dinner. The food there was delicious, we like to eat cuttle - fish most. The next day we visited to
some friends whowere my classmates at naval academy. During the time we were in Nha Trang
the weather was beautiful, so we went swimming and sightseeing some places. The people are
also very friendly and helpful there. We all enjoyed our holiday very much. It was unforgettable.
If you take a holiday you should go to Nha Trang.

In your letter, you said that you did not know what Binh Duong is like so I would like to
talk to you about BD where I live.It is a beautiful place where there are many sightseeings,
historical places such as: Dai Nam tourist area, Phu Loi prison. The people in BD are very
friendly, kind and easygoing. The weather here is much milder than Hanoi’s weather.
BD is an interesting place for you to visit. If you come here, I would like to invite you to
my house and I will take you around the city to see its beauty

How are you? I haven’t written to you for a long time because I have been very busy.
I am very happy to talk about my hobby on the TV programme, I like best that is sport
star.
As you know, after a hard working day, I often spend my free time watching sport
programme on TV. It is really useful and interesting. I can watch any of sports, I like some kinds
of sports such as: football, volleyball and car race. Firstly football programme which helps me
get rid of stress.
Everyday, I often spend thirty minutes reading the news of sports, what about you?


I hope that you will find this programme interesting and have an interesting moment
when you watch the program.

I love the saying, "Live in the present, learn from the past, plan for the future"
So, in my life, I always try to follow that guideline.
I usually plan for my future, both near and far future.
based on my current condition, I expected to do the specific job
I was a captain and work as a teacher at Military college of engineer, but now I am studying a
Master course in Political Academy, I identified:
First, I am going to study hard and graduated with honors masters course
then I returned to Military college of engineer to continue my work

Next 2 years, I will be appointed dean of the department
I will be promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel
I will build a new house and buy a car brand Honda Camry 3.0
I will travel where I like with my family
That's my future plan
I think I can be successful
8. Học tiếng Anh
To day, English is an international languge. English is very important and necessary for us. So I
chose English as my second language. I have learned English since 2002. Now, we often have
English lesons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We learn 4 skills, listening, speaking, reading
and writing. I spend about 1 or 2 hours learning English everyday. I usually try to learn English
well but learning English is very difficult so I can not study well. There are many new words and
grammar is not very easy. Fortunately our teachers are so good., they are always work hard and
help us a lots I am studying harder and harder to pass the exam this December. I want to learn
English more to teach my son.

I am very happy to talk about my new car
I just bought a new car last month, it is price 50.000USD. It’s brand is Camry of Toyota Group,
it is a black car 500 HP. It is both beautiful and comfortable.
Every time we go to away, we are not afraid of rain or sun. I often drive to take my family visit
my friends. I like it very much, if you have chance to visit my family, I will drive my car to take
you to go on sightseeing Binh Duong

I enjoyed listening to the music in my free time or when I feel tired
I often listen to many different kind of music, but I like most country music because it has the
melodious melody, soothing, it helps me relax, reduce stress. When i listen to the country music,
I feel to love my hometown more

I can sing a lot of songs in this genre, for example: "Spring" by Pham Minh Tuan, "love Chorus"
by Tran Tien, "Ha Giang is my hometown'...
Although I do not sing well, but I sometimes sing a few words
I think listening to music is a good habit. If you like a certain genre of music, you should hear it
in your free time.

I am very happy to talk about my beloved person that is my mother. My mother is 60
years old. She is not very beautiful but very attractive. She is not tall nor short. She is a hard
working woman who devotes all her life to my family. She always tries to keep our nest warm.
She loves us and does everything for us. She is both a material and spritual shelter for my family.
She is always us whenever we need her. I love her very much
Whenever you go to Viet Nam, come to have dinner with us and you will know how wonderful
my mum is!
I look forward to seeing you at my home as soon as posible.

Dear Peter,
I am very glad to receive your letter. In your letter you asked me how to keep fit and stay
healthy. Some advicebelow will help you have good health and stay healthy.
First, you shouldn’t work too much. Just work about 8 hours a day. If you over work you
may get stressed and you can’t feel healthy. You should spend enough time relaxing. You can play
some kinds of sports. I know that you like playing table tennis so you should play it twice or
three times a week. Playing sport is very good for your health and you had beter play other
sposts as football, volleyball, etc.....

Another important thing is that you should eat and drink in moderation. You shouldn’t eat
too much sweet or fatty food, you shouldn’t drink too much wine or smoke too many cigerettes,
either.
If you follow my advice, you will be very strong.
