Hi all,
A little (well, not exactly little) project we’ve been working on here at DBP is creating a set of
tuition resources for our TAs to use when giving tuition to students. This came about after I
learned how much time TAs were putting into locating and / or creating their own materials.
Plus, the tuition materials now reflect the lessons accurately and are of a higher quality than can
usually be sourced elsewhere.
It’s taken some time to create these, but I’m happy to say that Ryan, our Mentor Teacher, has
nearly finished the full set and they’re now available for your use (everything is done except for
Solutions Advanced and English Explorer 1). They’re here:

What I recommend doing is the following:
• Copy (don’t cut!!!) and paste the folder into an easily accessible location for your TAs to
find
•
Make your TAs aware of these materials
•
Solicit feedback from your TAs and share with me to improve these even more
• Provide a workshop for your TAs on giving tuition (see this link for a workshop that Ryan
created and delivered: P:\Managers\AcademicTeam\Training\Training-TA\Existing T.A\Giving
