Dear all my teachers and friends,
Let me introduce myself, my full name’s ......., I study at Hung Vuong primary
school in Dong Ha city.
Today I would like to emphasize on the importance of information technology for
studying and communication. As we all know, information technology becomes
more and more popular . It helps us shorten our geographical distances, create ideal
learning environment for all of us and relax after hard-working hours.
As we all know, today we can easily keep contact with our relatives who really live
far from us through IT applications such as Zalo, Skype, Messenger..
For example, although my uncles live in Hue, Danang and Vung Tau, they can talk
to my grandparents with video calls daily thanks to IT applications.
Besides, the internet can also provides us with an enormous amount of knowledge
and an endless source of any reference materials. When we have difficulty in
solving problems in study or in life, we can surf the internet to find advice and
effective solutions through search services such as Google, Yahoo, Yandex or Duck
Duck Go..
For study, the internet can help and encourage shy or weak students to feel more
confident in sharing their knowledge and experiences with friends, as well as ask
for their teachers’ help and support by putting them questions about the lessons
which they are not brave to do in traditional classes. The internet can also help
busy people complete their study by attending online training courses any time
without delay.
Last but not least the internet brings diverse forms of entertainment to us. It helps
to relieve the high pressure of life and work on us. We can enjoy ourselves by
watching our favorite programs, listening to lyric songs which we like best to
ease stress.
All the mentioned above, I briefly introduce the role of information technology in
life, work and study for learners.
And in the end, I sincerely wish all my dear teachers health and happiness, and
wish my friends happiness and progress in study.
Once again, I would like to thank dear teachers and friends, and do hope that the
competition will be extremely successful.
