The most enjoyable day in my life is my 20 th birthday last year. My friends
and I go to Nha Trang an my birthday: We got up very early to catch the bus at 6
a.m, we arrived Da Lat. I’m mediately, we went to the beach. While my friends
were playing with the white sand, I watched the blue clear sky of the beach.
Then, all of us swam happily until 11 a.m. After ward we had lunch in a big fastfood restaurant. We enjoy roast chicken and chips. The happiest time of that day
was all of my friends gave me a lot of present and beautiful flowers. At the
moment, a waiter brought to my table great birthday cake. My friends sang
loudly “Happy birthday to you and they told me some best wishes”. I think that I
have never had such a memorable as my 20th birthday.


TOPIC 2: IT STARTED TO RAIN HEAVILY (P.106)
It started to rain heavily when I woke up last Monday. I felt very cold and
lazy. Howerver, I had to get up to go to Univercity Dalat. Because I had an
important test that day. It was 6:30 then. Although I was very hungry, I hurred to
U without having breakfast. When I came to my classroom, I didn’t see anyone,
feeling nervous, I phoned one of my classmates. He said that our class was on
the third floor. I hurriedly went upstairs. Fortunately, I entered my class only a
few minutes before my teacher came in. We had a 90 minute test, but I could not
do it well. It was still rainywhen I left my classroom. But I did not remember
where I had put it. Finally, I had to walk home in the heavy rain, so I was
extremelywet. I felt not only cold but also hungry when I came home. What a
terrible day! Later that day, looking through the window, I could see the rain
falling down. I hope the next day would be a better day.


TOPIC 3: I COULDN’T BELIVE WHAT MY DAD HAD JUST (P.107)
I couldn’t believe what my Dad had just said when he came back home from
work 5 years ago. He said that he decided to take our family to Da Lat on
holiday. My sister and I felt very excited and we looked forward to visiting one

of the most famous tourist cities in VN. On the fisrt day in DL, we took a walk
along Xuan Huong Lake and we took a lot of photo at the flower garden of the
city which is near the lake. My mother liked the multicolor flower very much,
and I loved the ever green pine trees. The next day we visited some wonderful
places in DL such as Lang Biang Mountain, the valley of love, preem water fall,
… We also went shopping at the Big C supermarket, which Is in the center of the
city. Before we came home, I bought some baskets of immortal flowers as
presents to my best friends. It was the first time I have gone to DL, so I never
forget these beautiful day.


TOPIC 4: ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DAYS OF MY LIFE (P.110)
One of the most important days of my life was the first day I became a
student at DL Univercity. First, I felt very proud of passing the entance exam.
Then, I left a little nervous because I had to live far away from my home.
However, my parents were extremely sastified, and they decided to have a party
to celebrate the day. I became a U student. A lot of my friend came to the party.
They congratulated me and gave me presents. I felt that I was the most important
persen on that day. My father seemed to be the happiest one at the party. He sang
and he danced joyfully looking back now, I will never forget that days and it has
become the best memory of my life.

in thye city center, we made friends with two Australian studen who came to
Viet Nam for their holiday. Thay were very friendly, and it was a good
opportunity for me to speak English. After wards, they joined with our family to
go a picnic at a big park where we tool a lot of photos and played comes
interesting games. We also went to the cafeteria night. The night life in Ho Chi
Minh city was very exciting and noisy. I like this city very much. However, one
thing i don`t like about Ho Chi Minh city that there are too many vehicles on
streets all day and night.
