LỜI NÓI ĐẦU
Tài liệu dành cho chương trình thí điểm đang là một trong
những trăn trở của những nhà làm giáo dục, các giáo viên
tâm huyết, yêu nghề, của các phụ huynh đang loay hoay
tìm cho con mình một nguồn tài liệu học tập thật cụ thể, chi tiết và dễ hiểu,
có phải không?
Xuất phát từ những trăn trở của quý độc giả, tác giả đã biên soạn quyển

NGỮ PHÁP có tên GRAMMAR IN USE 07 để đáp ứng những nhu cầu
đó. Quyển sách được thiết kế bám sát các đơn vị ngữ pháp trong sách giáo
khoa theo từng đơn vị bài, điều này giúp học sinh dễ tra cứu và tìm hiểu
thêm các phần mình chưa hiểu. Các em có thể tự học thông qua việc đọc
phần diễn giải lý thuyết, sau đó làm bài tập ở phần kế bên. Việc thực hành
này sẽ giúp các em tương tác với ngữ pháp mau chóng và nhớ sâu hơn.
Quyển sách không chỉ tập trung vào việc giúp học sinh hiểu và làm
quen với tiếng Anh một cách hiệu quả mà nó còn giúp các em hiểu cách sử
dụng của mỗi đơn vị ngữ pháp một cách chi tiết với mục đích giúp trang bị
kiến thức cho phát triển kỹ năng viết sau này và cũng như sử dụng đúng và
chuẩn xác trong ngữ cảnh giao tiếp.

UNIT 1 GRAMMARMY HOBBIES
1 Quy tắc thêm –ing cho động từ: Trong Tiếng Anh đôi khi động từ được biến thể
bằng cách dùng dạng từ ban đầu (hay còn gọi là động từ nguyên mẫu) thêm ing để dùng
trong một số trường hợp nhất định. Do bị biến đổi, nên đôi khi cũng làm khó các em, nên
hãy cùng học các cách biến đổi của động từ khi thêm –ing nào.
Hãy cùng tham khảo các quy tắc dưới đây

1. Động từ tận cùng bằng chữ e

Trong Tiếng Anh, một số động từ khi theo sau những động từ dưới đây phải
biến đổi thành dạng thêm ing. Hãy ghi nhớ những động từ này thật kỹ để luyện tập
dần.

1 less, fewer, more
Chúng ta dùng less, fewer, more để so sánh ít hơn hay nhiều hơn về cái gì đó. Hoặc cũng

có thể dùng những từ này để đưa ra lời khuyên nên làm nhiều cái này hay ít cái kia hơn.
Hãy xem các ví dụ dưới đây
1. Sunbathe less, or you will get sunburnt.

2 Câu ghép (compound sentences) với and, or, but, so

Câu ghép là câu có hai mệnh đề độc lập. Những mệnh đề độc lập này thường được kết
hợp với nhau bằng liên từ (conjunctions) như and, but, or, yet, so hoặc trạng từ liên
kết như moreover, however, nevertheless, therefore, otherwise.
