Mr Vy and Mrs Tuyet are hard-working

morning tea. He drinks several cups of tea, has a
quick breakfast, and then leads the buffalo to the
field. It takes him 45 minutes to get ready. He leaves
the house at 5:15 and arrives in the field at exactly
5:30. He ploughsand harrows his plot of land and at
7:45 he takes a short rest. During his rest, he often
drinks tea with his fellow peasants and smokes local
tobacco. He continues to work from 8:15 till10:30.
Then he goes home, takes a short rest and has lunch
with his family at 11:30. After lunch he usually takes
an house’s rest.
At 2:30 in the afternoon, Mr Vy and Mrs Tuyet go to
the field again. They repair the banks of their plot of
land. Mr Vy pumps water into it while his wife does
the transplanting. They work for about 2 hours
before they take a rest. They finish their work at 6
p.m. They have dinner at about 7 p.m, then they
watch TV and go to bed at 10 p.m. Sometimes they
go and see their neighbors for a cup of tea. They chat
about their work, their children and their plans for
the next crop.
