1. MỤC TIÊU CỦA MÔN HỌC
1.1. Mục tiêu chung
Sau khi học xong học phần, người học có thể giao tiếp cơ bản, trao đổi ý kiến, thảo
luận các chủ đề quen thuộc thường ngày theo chuẩn năng lực bậc 2 (A2) và được chuẩn
bị kiến thức, kỹ năng cho bậc học cao hơn ở bậc 3 (B1).
1.2. Mục tiêu cụ thể
Sau khi hoàn thành môn học, người học sẽ phát triển được các chuẩn kiến thức, kỹ năng,
thái độ như sau:
1.2.1 Về kiến thức ngôn ngữ:
a. Về mặt ngữ âm
 Phát âm đúng từ vựng cơ bản và ngữ điệu khi giao tiếp theo các chủ điểm trong
chương trình.
 Nghe, nhận diện đúng các âm, từ vựng, chữ số thông thường
b. Về mặt ngữ pháp
- Người học có thể sử dụng thành thạo các cấu trúc câu đơn giản, các thì cơ bản
trong tiếng Anh khi giao tiếp và khi đưa ý kiến.

c. Về mặt từ vựng:
- Sử dụng được khoảng 1000 từ theo các chủ đề của bài học để có thể sử dụng
trong giao tiếp và thể hiện bản thân.
- Nhận biết được và sử dụng được các từ loại cơ bản như: danh từ, động từ, tính từ,
trạng từ, đại từ.
1.2.2. Về kỹ năng nói:
Người học có thể:
- xây dựng được các cuộc hội thoại đơn giản về các chủ đề quen thuộc trong cuộc
sống hàng ngày (bản thân, gia đình, công việc thường ngày, nghề nghiệp, các hoạt động
vui chơi giải trí, học tập, và một số thiết bị công nghệ) .
- đưa ra ý kiến của bản thân, bày tỏ sự đồng ý hay phản đối về các vấn đề dưới
hình thức đơn giản.
- tham gia làm việc theo cặp, nhóm để thực hiện những nhiệm vụ đơn giản như
thảo luận về các chủ đề quen thuộc, hay tranh luận một vấn đề nào đó bằng cách diễn đạt
ngôn ngữ đơn giản.


- thuật lại một câu chuyện, miêu tả nhân vật, miêu tả các hoạt động, sự kiện theo
cách đơn giản.
- Trình bày một chủ đề ngắn khoảng 120 -150 từ về những vấn đề liên quan đến cuộc
sống hàng ngày.
1.2.3. Nhóm kỹ năng khác:
- tham gia tổ chức và làm việc theo cặp, nhóm, và câu lạc bộ tiếng Anh.
- tìm kiếm và sử dụng hợp lý thông tin và kiến thức qua sách, báo, đài, và mạng
Internet...
1.2.4. Về mặt thái độ:
- nhận thức được tầm quan trọng của môn học.
- Xây dựng và phát huy tối đa tinh thần tự học thông qua nghiên cứu tài liệu, đọc
sách báo, và hoàn thành bài tập tự học.
2. Tổng quan về học phần:

Sau khi học xong môn học, người học có thể sử dụng cấu trúc ngôn ngữ đơn giản
để nói được về thông tin cá nhân, trình bày ý kiến, thảo luận những vấn đề trong đời sống
hàng ngày. Qua đó, người học được luyện tập và phát triển khả năng nói lưu loát, giao
tiếp tự tin, và phát triển kỹ năng tự học, tự tra cứu tài liệu có liên quan tới môn học.
II. NỘI DUNG CHƯƠNG TRÌNH
Nội dung
* Giới thiệu môn học và nội dung chương trình
Topic 1: Self and Family
- Vocabulary: words of personal details (name, surname, number of
age, telephone, email, address, nationality, family relationship)
- Listening or reading and do some tasks about personal details.
- Speaking: Practise interviewing, and describing a person in family
- Grammar: The simple present tense of “to be”, possessive pronouns.
Topic 2: Daily Routines
- Vocabulary: words or phrases of daily activites, times, adverbs of
frequency.
- Listening or reading and some exercises about daily routines
- Speaking: role- play (a reporter and a celebrity) / find someone
who… activity (ask and find a person who does the some things at the
same time as you)
- Grammar: simple present tense of ordinary verbs.
Topic 3: Jobs
- Vocabulary: words or phrases of jobs and work, like or dislike
expressions
- Listening or reading acitivities about jobs
- Speaking: describing a job you like / interviewing a person about
what he or she does in his or her job.
