1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. Why choose topics
We know that English is an international language and the most
common worldwide, is an indispensable tool on the path of integration and
development.
Vietnam is a developing country, we see the importance of learning
English. Because of that background Vietnam Education was soon put this


language in teaching in schools. Himself a teacher I find learning English in
grade I are paramount, it is the solid foundation they will be assured and more
confident after secondary school. To achieve this the teacher must practice
regularly for children 4 skills: Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing.
In fact according to new methods of teaching, the work of a lesson for the
teachers and students are too many anonymous game activities. Until
acceptance through written tests, the vocabulary (correct definition, true) does
not meet the requirements. Their upside is calculated dynamically in activities
in class, but the depth of knowledge they lack accuracy.
With the provisions of the Education Department and the school now has
increased the number of lessons according to the textbook program (3-4
periods/1 week), which is also favorable conditions for teachers have more
time to improve fixed and capital from the system through the exercises after
each topic, this is the way to students of and remember the vocabulary faster
and more accurately.
1.2. Purpose study
We know that mastering English vocabulary proficiency must be made 4
Listening-Speaking-Reading-Writing. To achieve this purpose I studied some
"Some techniques teach English vocabulary grade 3" to get the knowledge
system by using some form of exercise to inculcate and help students

remember durability of meaning and the definition of the words learned

1.3. Subjects of study
This topic I conducted research on "Some techniques teach English
vocabulary grade 3"
1.4. Research Methodology
To get good results I have surveyed the results of the school year.
Analysis of survey data in order to understand the real situation of each class
to find the causes and solutions hop.Trong implementation process I've used a
number of methods.

2. CONTENTS
2.1. Theoretical problem base
Like the first part I presented, the teaching of English in primary schools is
very important, is the first step for them to get familiar with English, to help
them form the basic skills in communication and use of English by to have
more capital. Like all other courses, educational methods, teaching during that
innovation is always promoting an active role for student creativity. During
school hours, the teacher plays the role of mentor, direct guidance to help
them figure out the basic knowledge and apply that knowledge to step into the
next journey. During school hours, as well as in the students always to
maximize its capacity in four basic skills: Listening - Speaking - Reading Writing.
Currently teaching methods under the new model primary schools with
English language have also introduced this method usually is primarily study
groups, one group of subjects sufficient to warrant can support each other
understand and complete their post better. Through that exercise independent
labor practices, innovative line with requirements of the development trend of
the times.
English is introduced as a formal subject in primary schools, as well as the
first step for students to see the need, as well as requirements of international
exchange and integration with other countries in the world and in the region is
very important. So learning English and other foreign languages is
indispensable.
With subjects in English in primary schools, students must achieve the
following specific requirements:
+ Understand the basics, minimal and relatively system of modern English, in

accordance with their age.
+ Skills in using English as a simple communication tool as Listening Speaking - Reading - Writing.

2.2. Status of the problem
With characteristics of subjects, learning English in primary schools have
advantages and its own difficulties as follows:
a. Advantage
- For students in grade 3 subjects are relatively new subjects and is the first
step you become familiar with a new language. So always be conscious
student curious discovery. Due characteristics of subjects was relatively
lively, most of these children are loved. Currently program and textbook
teaching methods are innovative matching ages and psychological education
requirements in light of innovations. Besides their families always create
favorable conditions for student learning are good.
- For teachers with knowledge, teaching methods innovative suite updates the
current requirements, regularly attend refresher classes enhance professional.
- For society has an objective perspective and more positive towards this
subject. Moreover, in recent years, English is usually held numerous contests,

especially the Olympic Games on the Internet in English. So the dynamics
and conditions are more focused learning.

the quality of regular teaching hours yet to be enhanced. Besides the number
of students per class is relatively large (about 36 students). So the guide each
student exercise is very difficult.
- For students mountainous countryside is very little chance for them to
contact communication, journalism, advertising signs in English as well as
foreigners. Therefore through practical teaching, I noticed that some students
are afraid to communicate, they are too shy, timid, self-deprecating
sometimes with ourselves. They do not have the habit of expressing its views
on a matter before the crowd, many of them have psychological passive,
waiting, dependent on others. Meanwhile new teaching method requires the

ability maximize independence and creativity of students, each student must
have comments, suggestions on the issues raised.
- For parents there are other families because of economic conditions are
difficult, it is not deeply interested in the learning process of the children.
There are some parents still underestimate the learning of English. Awareness
of students therefore also not high. The quality of students has been uneven
because many children are arriving from different provinces. Thus the
teacher, sometimes I'm just trying to convey sufficient knowledge content in
textbooks, the expansion in class usually depends on the weather exercise is
essential. That leads to the quality of student lessons also not high.
To promote the positive aspects of teachers as well as students, to overcome
the difficulties and limitations in general there are ways to help teachers
improve their teaching load. One of the methods I strongly recommended
measures discussed in this topic is "Instruct students to practice, practice from
thematic through some individual exercises, in pairs, in groups of hours learn
English".

Therefore some additional training exercises to reinforce vocabulary for
students in the classroom is very important, it contributes greatly to assess the
quality of training hours as well as the quality of student learning.
For this method has overcome some difficulties, such as: All students in the
class are learning the same content, same time; Help teachers save time; help

them weak or timid or have the opportunity to get together with your training
to be given their opinion.
However, when applying this method, teachers faced adverse issues such as:
Sometimes they cause too noisy, some of them taking advantage of the
situation to speak privately, working individually. So practice with your
children so much when they are suffering from many teachers errors
undetected. If these weaknesses are not adjusted in time, the effectiveness of
teaching hours will be very low.
So how to achieve high efficiency in general education as well as training
methods in particular from the teacher to do something well is a matter to be
resolved in the subject.

2.3. Measures already taken to solve the problem
Each person has a unique way of learning vocabulary, for I am one
who has learned English so I've learned a few ways to learn popular and
effective for the following students
- Learning vocabulary is accompanied by mother tongue or image
- Learning vocabulary by groups from each theme, from type or usage
- Learning vocabulary through games
- Learning vocabulary through homework on the vocabulary to be able
to know to use words correctly

- Learning vocabulary by writing them onto the memory card and
regularly check that remember new words or less.
However there is an effective way to learn is to find out the relationship
between words and group them together. When the new access from I guide
students find out they have a relationship with the words that they already
know or what the relationship between them has not. Here's how to help learn
vocabulary effectively.
Through learning the vocabulary I've conducted as above apply to students
doing some exercise after:

2.3.2. The suggested exercises
So they have an advantage in shaping, teachers should introduce topics for
students to think more focus. Besides the innovative teaching methods as now
I often give students individual work in groups, pairs and groups large group

Characteristics of these methods is to use diagrams, charts to record
new words and image system. It is also the advantages of this method of
learning vocabulary. By memorizing easy image more effectively than by
letter. Students can use different colors in your vocabulary scheme and
remember to always record new words a systematic way. Hopefully these
measures will help students reap further success in learning new words
2.4. Result
Through the process of applying the teaching of more homework
themed after the lesson to remember how to inculcate my vocabulary that
students have a lot of progress, and more favorite subjects. Lessons often
work in groups should always create lively atmosphere, exciting for the
students. Besides the organization of the students do exercises in pairs, groups
and create many opportunities to practice and use the language in a creative
way, the relationship between students and teachers therefore also become
closer. Myself and diversions are the strengths and weaknesses of students,
find out what issues to complement and draw lessons for the next class, edit
the design to his lecture teaching methods matched pupils, help them always
boldly confident when using the language

3.1. Conclusion
Innovative contents and methods of education to improve the quality
and effectiveness of teaching is first and foremost requirement of education as
well as teachers, students and families of students ... I myself am a teacher
direct teaching, I boldly give some guidance methods students practice, do
exercises to strengthen impartial learned and find more common words
related to the topic. Besides the design meets all varied for each lesson and
applied regularly in the activities reinforce or review each stage will
contribute to inculcate and retentive in each student. This will stimulate
excitement in the children and of vocabulary immediately in class, not lose
time for learning at home. This is just a small reviews in order to improve the
quality of teaching, but no single method is optimal. Therefore, to achieve
high efficiency for the subject, apart from the striving efforts of teachers and
students, the combination with other methods, as well as in combination with
other subject teachers is indispensable.
Although teachers may use any method, the students also remains the
central object in lectures. Meanwhile, for the English language, it focuses on
developing the skills Nge - Speaking - Reading - Writing. Which skills
Listening - Speaking mainly. So to promote, enhance time to belong and be
from the student's writing is very important. If lack of vocabulary, the student
will not complete the skill. I hope that this subject will bring high efficiency,
help me draw on experience to achieve higher education. Still in a particular
class is also necessary to combine multiple methods of education, teaching

different.
3.2. Recommendation
For myself as a teacher teaches and who discussed this experience
initiative topic. So let the subject be applied most effectively in teaching
practice as well as improve the quality of teaching I boldly set to reach some
recommendations follow:

+ For those means, teaching aids, reference books for English language
still missing. So the leaders respectfully fully equipped facilities to ensure the
subject teaching is more advanced.
+ For parents should spend more time worrying remind and encourage
their children to study at home, and have a more positive attitude towards the
learning of their children.
I myself will try to self-learning and self-training on a regular basis in
order to improve general knowledge and professional skills in particular.
For school administrators and other colleagues, I would like to receive
the comments constructive teaching quality, effective and consistent with the
actual situation in the locality.
