Special performances in DaLat Flower Festival 2016 are the concern of many people today. If you are

Looking back five times of organization of DaLat Flower Festival
First held in 2005, the Flower Festival is an occasion for tourists to explore the truest DaLat with
countless beautiful flowers from all over country – the flowers bloom everywhere from indoors to
outside lane, across the road and the city, from the small shop to the beautiful large park. So does

DaLat Flower Festival has been held five times:
DaLat Flower Festival 2005 was held from December 10th through December 18th, 2005. At the first
time, the festival’s symbol was a yellow bee holding a watering can. On the agenda, festival included
magnificent art performance, splendid firework show and 160 brilliant flower cars.
DaLat Flower Festival 2007 was held from December 15th to December 22nd, 2007. The second
DaLat Flower Festival was very well-organized and included more performances than the first festival.
This festival was considered to have many unique characteristics and was recorded in the Viet Nam
Record with the largest Viet Nam flower car, the longest Viet Nam wedding photo, the longest Viet
Nam wedding dress, the biggest Viet Nam Long Phung pair of wedding lights, the biggest Viet Nam
wooden wine barrel, the biggest Viet Nam Song Hy pair of tea boxes and the most crowded Viet Nam
Santa Claus parade.
DaLat Flower Festival 2010 was held from January 1st to January 4th, 2010. The 3rd time festival was
to celebrate 1000th anniversary of Thang Long. At this time, the space of gorgeous shimmering
colorful flowers made visitors overwhelmed by the beauty of the hundreds of different species
flower. At the 3rd time, DaLat Flower Festival was acknowledged the first city of flower festival in
Vietnam by the Prime Minister.
DaLat Flower Festival 2012 held from December 31st, 2011 through 3rd May 01, 2012.
The fourth flower festival was themed “DaLat – Flower Festival City”. The 4th festival was diversified
than three times before and had many additional programs such as the flower market, flower food
festival, scientific conference and so on.
DaLat Flower Festival 2014 was held from December 28th, 2013 through January 2nd, 2014.
The 5th flower festival was the anniversary event to celebrate 120th anniversary of Founding &
Development of DaLat. Many programs took place to celebrate this event such as street in-line
skating contest, flower fashion contest, Tourism Festival, The Week of Love, flower arranging contest,
night festival of 120 years of DaLat and the Flower fair. They took place successfully and attracted
many tourists to visit.
Featured programs of DaLat Flower Festival 2016
This year, DaLat Flower Festival 2016 is scheduled to take place from December 27th to 31st, 2015.
With many unique programs, the festival promises to attract both domestic and foreign tourists and
help people discover many unique features of DaLat.
Dat Lat Flower Festival 2015 – 2016 will be held under the theme “Highlands–the call of Great
Mountain”. The festival‘s opening ceremony will include flower car performance, model car of ASEAN
UNESCO heritage unique in the background of colorful fireworks. Visitors will be overwhelmed by the
shimmer that the festival brought at Lam Vien Square.
Especially, in this year’s Festival, with the elaborate investment of government, visitors will have the
chance to learn more about the intangible cultural values of humanity in ASEAN, Vietnam –ASEAN
UNESCO Heritage Carnival and flower Carnival at the Lam Vien Square and Tran Quoc Toan road on
December 28th 2015.
Besides, visitors also have the opportunity to join many other unique programs such as “A night of
convergence of DaLat flower color” on December 29th,art performances with the theme of “Enjoy
yourself in the mountain city” from December 27th to 31st and music shows with the theme of
“DaLat – the love story” from December 28th to 30th.
