There is an increasingly growing popular idea that many damaging influences on cultures and
environments of a country are caused by tourism. I believe this contention makes sense and I will give the
reasons to prove so and provide some solutions to reduce those situations in this essay.
A very important point to consider is that one of the most initial factors leading to
overdevelopment is tourism. To serve more and more travellers, the tourism industry has to build more
hotels, restaurants, which results in reducing natural area and deforestation. For example, instead of
attractive sightseeing with white sand and blue sea, the coastline from Danang to Hoian in Vietnam is
covered by many resorts and luxury hotels.
It is also important to realize that tourism has negative influences on local people. The presence of
tourists contribute to raise domestic prices higher and local people living around well-known areas suffer
from this situation as well; simultaneously some young local people, because of being affected by overseas
cultures, ignore tradition, which might lead to problems preserving the traditional culture. For instance, at
Old Quater Street in Hanoi, Vietnam, people can easily figure out that the prizes are much higher than
these in other places as well as see many of the young wear clothes which are unsuitable to Eastern
culture.
Such negative impact can be reduced or avoided by several effective ways. To illustrate, instead of
just travelling to well-known places many times or just in resorts whole day, tourist can join in some new
adventures such as sailing, canoeing or focus on eco-tours to preserve the environment and enjoy new
experiences. In addition, observing the rules and respecting local cultures are two main points which
tourists should also remember.
In conclusion, despite having a positive impact on the economy aspect, the drawback of tourism to
local cultures and the environments cannot be denied. Some suggestions above could be the methods to
reduce these problems.
Worldwide attention goes into TV talent shows. Some people think this is a good way to find star
quality. others, this is for the purpose of entertainment. Both views have strong arguments. However, I
believe this is a design to please the talented people starting their career.
The contestants may not have good looks, sometime that is not the matter for judges to
give high score for them. The important things is that they must have real talent to show the
judges. If they do not, they can not join the selection. For example, in Britain’s Got Talent show
2009, Susan Boyle, stunned the judges, along with the audience and the rest of Britain with her first
audition. Wrongly, the judges clearly had her stereotyped as a no-goer, her awkward stage persona
and style already had them convinced this would be rejection across the board. But, as she sang the
beginning bars of “I Dreamed a Dream”, the room fell silent as Boyle's voice entranced a nation.

instant fame on a phenomenal scale and has achieved great success since.

will be neglected. It is because many citizens need the health and the education. When they are sick, they
must be hold by good facilities, such as comfortable rooms, surgery rooms, drugstores and so on. In the
school/university, they need safety rooms, library, laboratory of computer and language, and field for
exercise.
It can be concluded, even though building in the city is a sign of improvement, but the ministry also
should pay attention to the other thing. He persuades the wealthy citizens to invest the money for
business and social way prevalently and make the unique construction. In order to the city in the future is
still hold on and be remembered by the inhabitants as progressive city.
