1. Hue Imperial City was listed as a World
cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1993.
It is in Hue City, 654 km from Hanoi
and 1071 km from Ho Chi Minh City. It
was built in 1805 and completed in
1832. Hue Imperial City comprises 3
sections: The Royal Citadel, the
Imperial Enclosure and the Forbidden
City. You can visit it everyday from
8.00 am to 4.30 pm. The admission fee
is 55.000 VND.
2. Thong Nhat Conference Hall is also
called
Reunification
Hall
or
Independence Palace . It is in District
No 1, Ho Chi Minh City, 1730 km south
of Hanoi. Thong Nhat Conference Hall
originally built in 1865 but it was
heavily damaged by an air bombardment
in Feb 1963. Then, it was rebuilt in
1966. It has 5 floors with 100 beautifully
decorated rooms and chambers. You can
visit it daily from 7.30 to 11.00 in the
morning and from 1.00 to 4.00 in the
afternoon. The admission fee is 10.000

statistics were provided by Vietnam National
Administration of Tourism. It is clear from
the chart that the number of visitors to

is higher than that in 2001. According to the
chart, the USA had the biggest number of

2001 and 259,967 in 2002. France ranked
