A – Make a list of pictures according to the seasons and compare your lists with those of
your classmates. Then, take turns making suggestions, accepting or refusing them.

The models below are good for intermediate/upper intermediate students. You’ll have to
change them accordingly, if you’re using the WS for pre-intermediate students. They could
say anything about each season.

Student a : It’s summer. Let’s have some fun on the beach.
Student b : i).Yes, let’s. Let me put on my flip flops.
ii) No, thanks. It’s too hot. Maybe tomorrow.
2.
Student a : It’s spring. The trees are blooming. How about hanging out in the park?
Student b: i) That’s a good idea. Let’s phone the others. We could play volleyball.
ii) No, I don’t think so. I have to revise for the Maths test. Thank you.
3. Student a : It’s our last day on the beach. Let’s pose for a photo together.
Student b: i) Yes, let’s. Where are our friends? I think I have to put on a hat.
ii) I don’t think so. I left my camera at the hotel. Sorry!
4. Student a : Let’s build a snowman. Or would you prefer to go snowboarding?
Student b: i) I think snowboarding is an excellent idea. We need some exercise.
ii) Thank you, but I’ve got a cold. I’ll have to stay indoors.
5. Student a : Let’s have a party next Friday night.
Student b: i) Yes, let’s. What are we going to celebrate?
ii) No, that’s a bad idea. It’s autumn. It may rain or drizzle.
