Nowadays, computer has become an essential part in
modern life. However, there are still many different
opinions about the advantages of computer. Whether
have computers made the world a better and safe place?
My view is that computers really bring many benefits for
human.
First of all, we can’t deny that our life become more
comfortable and convenient than before thank to
modern technology. Especially, computers help increase
productivity in factories and offices. People do not need
to do some kind of heavy works and managers could
control and solve problems without moving. Besides,
people could save natural resource and reduce pollution
by using computer. Because, in studying and working,
computers have replaced paper which is from wood.
Secondly, along with another modern technology, such
as cameras, there is a decrease in crime rate. Cameras
can record 24/24 and then through computers we know
everything happen where we live. Moreover,
government could control criminal activities and use it as
evidence to force them
On the other hand, since the appearance of computers,
more and more people rely too much on them. Instead
of working by themselves, some people try to use
computers, which affects negatively to their health, and
leads to some kinds of disease like obesity and eyehurting.
All things considered, I still remain that computers bring
a better and safer world to live, although there are few
disadvantages. However, we can improve them by
controlling the habit of using computers
