Far far away, marriage’s always important in our life. I personally think that
marriage is only happy when it was built by love. So there’s no reason to think
that arranged marriages are the bad thing. These marriages have many
disadvantages.
Firstly, Incompatibility issues – this is the main effect of an arranged marriage. As
you know, almost arranged marriages usually skip the process of courtship, so the
couple may not know each other well and only get to know after they are
married. Then, they get to indentify the strengths and weaknesses of each other,
which may be probably too late. When have trouble, they aren’t understand and
sympathize towards the other. They must suffer a lot of incompatibility problems
as a result.
Secondly, most arranged marriages lack of love that may keep the marriage.
They’re always outside and that’s the reason why they have extramarital relations
with somebody quickly. Even , in some case, the husbands lay violent hands on his
wife( it affects their children). And the marriage becomes more “living-together”
than a marriage. These marriages will breaks down soon.
Thirdly, “arranged marriages” is the cause of an unusual society. Society won’t
develop if the family have no love, trust and support.
Today, most young people could choose the person they want to marry. A
marriage join two people and not two family. Two people can get married because
they love each other, not just because their family want them to marry.
In sum, an arranged marriages shouldn’t be encouraged because bring too
disadvantageds to the couple and society. So everybody should be given right to
choose who she or he loves and will live be comfortable, spending the rest of their
life with.
