each other. I want to mention about advantages.
Because it helps us to sharing information,
chatting, moreover you can use it in mobie
phone. I mean that you can update your status by
one click. It is more easy to use. However, it has
the disadvantages that you will threat of virus,
waste of time and so on.

Facebook, the social networking site that
launched in 2004 and now, nearly 25 million of
the 36 million Internet users in Vietnam have
Facebook accounts. For today’s college students,
Facebook has become as commonplace as school

T: yeah, facebook is my best friend with me. I can
share with my friends or many friends in the
world. I have many friends in class but we often
online learning by facebook. Besides, I am
working for a Vietnam travelling company and it
is a online work. All members connect with each
other by facebook. Moreover, my customers can
search information about my tour on facebook .
However, facebook have many disadvantages, I
check facebook too much in a day.
H: you mean that it waste of time?
T: yes, a lot time, it affects my learning.

S: I think facebook is very good for studying here.
because on facebook has many good connection.
There are many famous people in facebook so you
can learn many thing from them or from your
friends. Besides, a part from benefits of facebook
is it give you some disadvantages. If someone
send for you the bad link or connection, you
random click here. so, your facebook get virus. It
will send something bad to another one such as
your friends on facebook.

NARRATIVE
Now we a senior of School of Foreign Languages. We are really excited when
we learn Televison Project this term. This might be a big luck because Television
Project not only is interesting but also brings me many benefits. Television Project
is a difficult subject. We set out three goals so that we can learn well this subject.
The first goal is to develop my skills like writing, speaking and working in group.
Another goal is to be more confident and creative. And the last goal is that I can get
high marks in this subject. In order to achieve all of these goals, we really need to
be hard working and try to complete all the work on time. There are fifteen weeks
during the process of this subject. In the fisrt five weeks, we have to find
information and decide what we will do. The next four weeks we will write and
complete our scripts. The last weeks are time for final presentation and video. We
worked in group of four members who are Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Nguyen Thi Hoa,
Vu Thi Duyen and Nguyen Thi Hue. We had really interesting time together.
The some first week, my official teacher, Ms. Thuyen cannot go to class. Then,
He required us to make an action plan, find group title and design group logo for the
after weeks. After getting those requirements of teacher in the first class, we had a
group meeting to discuss about tasks need to be done. Firstly, our leader, Hoa,
divided the task for each member. After that we made an action plan for fifteen
weeks and discussed about the name and logo of our group. There were many ideas
about the name of group like Sun new, Butterfly new, Angel….but we were not
satisfied. Finally, Hue gave a name “Thainguyenschoolnew” and got agreements of
the whole group. One thing which made us confused was group logo. All members
in group do not know how to design anything. We watched many video on
‘youtube’ and referred someone who knows about technology. Each member
created a logo base on the name and we chosen Hoa’s one because it was harmony
between name and symbol, color and word font.
Two-next-week we had to search information to write the first script. All members
finished the first script on time. However, Mr. Thuyen gave us the guideline for this
subject. Our group had a face to face discussion in order to find the direction for our
presentation and video. We followed the requirements of Mr. Thuyen and wrote the
script of each member: Hoa talked about the Facebook-a double edged sword for
youth; Duyen talked about tattoo art, Hue dealt with Thai Nguyen University
Learning Resources Centre and Chi presented about Rising Prices in market. When
we wrote the first script, the thing making us confused the most was how to collect
the information. We felt so stress because our teacher required us a lot of things.
We managed to find and read information. After completing it, we sent to my
teacher and received feedback. Our script had a few mistakes. Our group had a
meeting so as to correct the script together. We are learning in other class: Chi
studies in English Education K35, 3 others members are from English Language
K35. Therefore, it was hard to have an offline discussion. We often had online
discussion on Facebook.
When we completely finished our script, we started filming. We divided the
work for each member: Hoa and Duyen prepared about the clothes, make up and
place; Hue and Chi dealt with camera. This time our work are quite good, because
we got much of time to make small video. Finally, we finished all the videos for the
last product. We chose some software to cut, connect and sub tiltle for our video:
Video maker, Aeghisud and etc. However, the best chose for us is Proshow 5.0. It
was a great time for us learning more about this software. ProShow Producer is
professional-grade slideshow software for creating photo and video slideshows.
Features include keyframing, masking and adjustment effects which can be used for
further customization. The software has built-in CD, DVD and Blu-ray burning
capabilities. It also supports output to an Executable file (.exe) for playing on most
computers (excluding Apple) as well as to other formats including MPEG video,
HTML5 video, QuickTime video, Flash Video, Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube..In
our opinion, skills that we learnt from this subject will be really useful in our future
life. We had a group meeting on 15 th November 2015 to design the cover and
arrange articles in video suitably. The next day we met constantly and worked very
hard to complete the remaining part in our video. We worked with many videos,
records, photos, effects, words… Finally, we had a complete video after nearly two
weeks. It made us quite satisfied and we hoped that it will get the satisfaction of our
teacher, too. We printed and submitted on time and waited for the result.
The twelfth week, we started preparing for the final presentation. With the final
presentation teacher had two requirements. The first is that the content of
presentation must show main ideas of the videos’ content. Another requirement is
that the presentation has to be creative, attractive and equal between each member’s
part. Hue thought immediately about some difficulties in processing. We will
mention about the advantages and disadvantages in our processing. Initially, we
intended that we presented with power-point.We have used the supporting tools
such as images, sounds, mistake videos. That will make audiences feel easy to
understand. We are quiet satisfied about our presentation idea and hoped that we
would get high marks.
That was a long time for our group in general and for us in private. We really
experienced a lot of things. Before learning this subject, We set out three goals to
do. Thanks to our lecture and our friends in our group, our skills were improved
considerably. We made fewer mistakes when we wrote an script. Besides, my
speaking skills also were developed quickly. We can speak confidently when we
stand in front of many people and camera. Moreover, we learned how to work in
group, divide tasks, combine multiple skills and apply our knowledge to solve
problems. Besides, we have more knowledge about our topics. The most important
thing is teamwork. We have to say that we had a happy time with members in our
group. Finally, we want to say “thanks” to our teacher, Mr. Thuyen. Truthfully, we
used to be afraid of him. This is because he required us a lot of things which we
thought that we cannot do them. However, passing fifteen week working with him, I
have to change all our thoughts. We know that he just wants us to work more
effectively and develop all our skills. Thanks to his teaching methods, we improved
many things. We hope that with his help and with our efforts, we will get the best
results for this subject.
