Talk about a film that you really like and a film you hate.
I have seen many films and my favorite film is “Doraemon”. It is an animated film.
The film is based on a book which has the same name. It is divided into many
series. The story is very interesting. It’s about a robot named “Doraemon”.
Doraemon is produced by people of the future, it is sent to present time to help
Nobita, who is lazy and stupid. But he is kind. The film is very funny and very
gripping. I specially like Nobita. With Doraemon’s magic pocket, he has made lots
of adventures with his friends. Some of them were long and difficult. They went to
strange lands and discovered many interesting things. Doraemon is the best
animated film for children and also adults. It is the best choice when you want to
see something. Let’s go and see it.
2. Talk about your last weekend.
Last Sunday, it was a fantastic day. I went to the city centre and I had an interesting
experience. In the morning, I got up early and went there with my friends. We took
a taxi and went to the Main Square (its name is The Tenth of March). We joined in
“Tiger’s Festival”. The organizer of the event built a tiger statue which was the
tallest in Viet Nam, it was twenty-five meters high. Everybody went there very
early and they stood in line. The lines were very long and very crowded. They
waited to register, the atmotphere was hotter, we quickly filled in a register form
too. I waited for a long time, and then my name was called up. I went next to the
statue and put on safety equipment. The horn was sounded and we started to climb.
I climbed fast and faster, rang the bell and became the winner. I felt very happy.
Finally, I received a tiger bag. It was beautiful and convenient, my friends received

some presents, too. It was an unforgettable day. I used to be shy, but I won myself
and became stronger. The festival was wonderful.
3. On what occasions do you receive presents? What kind of things do you
normally get?
During the year, there are many occasions for people to give presents to each other:
birthdays, Christmas, certain anniversaries or simply just because we want to bring
happiness to someone.It is also a chance that we usually receive gifts.


I usually receive gifts on my birthday. First, there are wishes from friends and
family. It is even better when I wake up and see a mailbox full of the best wishes.I
feel very happy.
Also I have received from my parents many meaningful presents such as: a party
for my birthday, a handbag or some money to do things that I love. Friends have
given me many things: a stuffed animal, a book or a card.They are really cute. I
really love them and thank everyone for giving me a very happy day.

4. On what occasions do you often buy presents to give your family members or
friends? Which shops do you usually go to when you are shopping for presents?
I often buy and give presents to someone on their birthdays.
I usually give a scarf or clothes for my mom, a jacket for my dad and a pair of
pretty shoes for my lovely sister.Although the gifts are not expensive, they help
people that I love overcome the next winter in happiness.
For friends, we often give each other a little birthday party and a birthday cake
which is beautifully decorated.Then everyone will say wishes directly or through
cards. The party is small but very cozy!
I often go to a clothes shop and a shoes shop to buy a jacket, a scarf and a pair of
shoes.Going to the bakery to pick myself a nice cake and do not forget to visit the
newsagent’s to buy a greeting card.

I am very interested in receiving gifts but when I give presents to someone I feel
much happier. It is really meaningful and you should give gifts more if you can.

5. Do you prefer giving presents or receiving them ? Why?
Giving and receiving are amazing things in our life. A lot of people who prefer
receiving presents; meanwhile, others prefer giving presents. For me, I love both,
giving and receiving presents.
I think that if you give presents to someone. It can help you to show your emotion
and love to them. And if you receive presents. It means that you accept and respect
the love from the givers. I want both to show my emotion and to respect the love
from others.
It’s necessary for us to know the way to give and receive presents because, if we
aren’t careful, we can make people hurt and annoyed. The way we give is more
important than the cost of presents.

6. What kinds of presents do you usually receive? Do you think money is a good
present? Why?


Up to now, I have received lots of kinds of presents and I like most of them.
The kinds of presents I usually receive are clothes. My friends always buy clothes
for me. They think that I look good in those clothes and I am really happy about
that. I always wear them when I go out.
I think money is not a good present. Because, It can’t show your emotion and your
love. Because you just give money for them without knowing what they really
want. If you know what your friends really love, you use your money to buy it for
them. I think it’s much better. However, a lot of people think that their parents or
friends can use money they give to buy whatever they want. That’s OK. Because

each person has their own way to show emotions, and I respect that.

7. What three devices do you think are the most useful ? why ?
Nowadays, thank to the development of science and technology, there are so many
modern devices which are very useful for human kind. But to me, I think the three
most useful devices are mobile phone, motorbike and laptop .
A mobile phone is a means for you to contact with everybody. You can call, text
messages, chat, surf the Internet and take photos, watch videos and play games.
In these days, a mobile phone has so many functions, your mobile can do a lot
besides making and receiving calls. So we often call it smart phone. I always bring
my mobile phone with me, it is a part of my life, now.
A motorbike is a means of transport. With it you can go to any places sush as your
school, the coffee shop, the market, and the bookstore. It’s more convenient and
cheaper than using a car. Day by day , I often ride about 10 kilometers from my
house to my school, and I don’t have to wait for the bus. It help me save my time. I
love my mortobike, it is very necessary to me.
A laptop is a means for people to work and entertain. We often use laptop for
saving documents. It can connect to the Internet too. So you can explore so many
kinds of information on social network. You also can chat and call using a webcam.
And you can relax with your favorite songs, games and movies.
If there is no mobile phone, motorbike and laptop, human life will be boring, and
the society can’t develop well.

8. How often do you use you mobile phone? What do you use it for?
The mobile phone is the most important device to me, it is very necessary. I often
use it 8 hours per day. I use it to make and receive calls. I text messages for my
friends and my relatives. Sometimes , I chat with friends for 2-3 hours. Many of
my friends or relatives live in different places, so mobile phone is a means for me

to contact with them. We can exchange information or ask for advice about things


in our life.
Nowadays, a mobile phone has many functions, your mobile can do a lot besides
making and receiving calls. So we often call it smart phone. I often use it to surf
the Internet, watch videos, play games, or take pictures. It helps me to save so
many beautiful moments of my life .
Many phones today have music players, I can listen my favorite songs. I also can
download music from the Internet, upload it from my computer or share songs with
my friends. I can use headphones to listen to the FM radio or music.
In short, mobile phone is very useful to me. It makes my life more convenient and
more interesting. However, I always remind myself not to use mobile phone too
much, that isn’t good for my health.

9. I think cars have made the world better because...
Firstly, cars are a more convenient mode of transportation. They have more
comfortable seats and air conditioners which help people to feel better when using
other methods such as bicycle or motorbike. Cars can transport many goods at the
same time, so they can save costs.
Secondly, this will increase more job opportunities because more workers will be
involved in working in car companies or as drivers, reducing the unemployment
rate.
Thirdly, other industries such as processing industry and oil industry have been
developed as car industries developed. However, cars have made the world worse
because cars have increased the level of air and noise pollution in cities, causing
more people to suffer from diseases and accidents. When the number of private
cars increased, more car passengers have been injured or killed in severe accidents.
Moreover, a car is expensive and requires a lot of money to maintain and repair it.

10. I think computers have made the world better because...
First of all, we use computers every day. When we go to a store and use our credit
cards, computers process our infomation and perform transactions.
Second of all, computers provided a great means of communication - the Internet. I
think it is the easiest and cheapest way to get in touch with relatives and
friends.Nowadays the world becomes smaller and smaller. With computers,
accessing to information has become very easy.
Thirdly, computers help teachers teach more effectively by images, videos and
audios. To sum up, I believe that computers have made our lives easier. At present,
the computer is one of the most essential parts of our daily life. It can change our
attitude towards life. I think with the invention of computers, people have become
closer and friendlier.

11. I think robots have made the world better because…
I think robots have made the world better because of two reasons. Firstly, robots
make more money for companies. Robots can do the work of many people at the
same time and do that work much faster than human. Therefore, it decreases the
amount of money that companies have to pay for the workers. For example, robots
can bring many heavy things from this place to another place. Secondly, robots can
be used to entertain and advertise. People can create games about robots for
children, make movies about robots that fight against devils to teach children to be
strong and not to do bad things. Robots can also dance, sing and say something to
advertise the new products to attract more buyers. I have just finished my talk

Firstly, I think nuclear weapons have made the world worse because nuclear
weapons make wars. Many countries may use them to fight each other then destroy
lots of buildings and cities, kill billions of innocent people in these countries, make
millions of people lose opportunities to live and work. Moreover, nuclear weapons
cause serious damage to the climate and environment which lead on air pollution
and water pollution. They create many short-term effects like burnt skin, fever and
long-term effects like the appearance of cancer. Nuclear weapons can bring many
strange diseases to human. It takes a lot of time to research, find out the medicine
and the way to cure these illnesses. That is two reasons why I think nuclear
