2. Listening
check –up to Hoa. She met the doctor to let her
give the result ti fill in the form.
- Ask Ss to number the gaps. Then predict what
words can be filled.
- Let Ss some minutes to predict, when finished
compare with the partners.
- T gives feedback.
Step 2: While - listening
Activity 1: Checking the prediction
- Teacher plays the tape twice.
- Ss listen and check their predictions and
correct the false ones.
- Give feedback.
- Sts practice the dialogue with their partners.
Activity 2: Questions- Answers (A3.P109)
- Teacher runs through the medical record.
- Elicit to help Ss make questions with the
information in the form.
- Then divide the class in rows. Number the row
1-2.
- No 1 is A; No 2 is B.
- Use the questions above to get information to
complete the form.
- First A asks B answers then change.
Step 3: Post - listening
Survey
- Teacher draws the table on the board
- S s copy in their notebooks
- Ss work in groups of three
- Teacher models with one student:
