At the first analysis, what I put in my priority is the ecological balance. It is obvious that nature is a whole system that was constructed by many elements.
If one part changes, it will affect all the other parts. For example if the cat or the snake no longer exists, there will be no animal to eat the rat, and the rat
will develop very fast to harm our farm. Another example, the fewer places for the deer to live, the less food for the tiger and lion, as the result, these

Many scientific reasearch have proved that smoking is very harmful to people. Because it is hard for people to get rid of this unhealthy habit, some
countries have passed laws which ban people from smoking in public places and office buildings. In my opinion, this policy is very necessary and worthy.
First of all, it is the matter of our health. Some people say that they feel relived and relaxed when smoking in that it can help them forget their daily
problems. Yes, this is one of smoking’s advantage. However, if one keeps smoking over a long time, he can grow lots of types of diseases. He might lose
his strength gradually though hardly can he aware of this. He is easily affected by other severe diseases. And it costs him lots of money for treatment.
Above all, he loses his health which goes and never comes back. Health is obviously the most valuable treasure in our lives.
Secondly, public places and office building are crowded. When we smoke, people around us are annoyed at the smelly air. Our act can cause them
disturbance and anger. Furthermore, passive smokers, people who don’t smoke, are likely those who suffer the most from our smoking. For instance, it is
very bad for children to grow up in an environment where many people smoke. As a result, they are unhealthy and easily grow diseases. The less we
smoke, the healthier other people and our selves are.
Finally, by stopping smoking, it is a very good to save money. The money which comes from the profit of buying cigarretts is not as worth as the money
we can save from not buying them to invest in other things. The government can use that amount of money to support people with better living conditions,
sanitation, health projects, and so on. One individual can use the money for buying his mother some flowers, or donating to the social projects, instead
buying cigarrettes. Although our contributions is not very much, each and every support of an individual can become the whole great support which

means some tremedous things.
It is good to pass law to restrict the public smoking activity of smokers. However, if people are well-aware of the bad consequences of smoking and
determined to quit smoking by themselves, I think it’s the best way.
Topic 157: In the future, students may have the choice of studying at home by using technology such as computers or television or of studying at
traditional schools. Which would you prefer? Use reasons and specific details to explain your choice.
With the developing of the technology in the modern society such as computer or television, students have a choice of studying at home by the modern
technology or studying at traditional school. Though some people may prefer to study at home, I think that the best choice is studying at traditional school
because it has a great number of benefits that computers cannot replace such as the possibility to communicate face-to-face.
There are some main reasons why students think that it would be better to study at home. One of them is that students may control their own time of
studying. For example, computers can provide any information and students do not have to go to the library. The information is always available in the
internet and students can divide their time according to their own possibilities. There is no doubt that studying by using technology is cheaper and more
comfortable.
Moreover, a traditional school provides a better learning environment for students. First of all through participating in different kinds of activities, many
skills of the students, which are very helpful for their future, can be developed. For example, students can learn how to communicate with the other
people. Studying at school students can meet different people from different countries. In this way they will learn one of the most important things that
will be very useful in the real life: how to communicate. Another advantage of studying at a traditional school with a lot of people is that students will be
able to work in a group and there is no doubt that it will be very important for their future. For example, if they work in a big company and some of them
have to execute a very important project he or she will need help. Then the possibility to work in a group will be very important.
In conclusion, I do believe that it would be better for students to learn in traditional schools even the technology is available for them to study at home. It
is because the learning environment of traditional schools is more suitable.
