CONDITIONAL SENTENCES 2
* Type 1: (real at present/future)
IF + present tense, WILL + verb
Eg: - If you can’t find your place, I will help you to get there by this map.
- If the rice paddies are polluted, the rice plants will die.
* Type 2: (unreal at present)
IF + past tense, WOULD/ COULD/MIGHT + verb
Eg: - If you saw a UFO, what would you do?
- I would tell him the truth if I were you.
Put the verbs in the correct tense/form:
1- A: What if you get lost?
B: Don’t worry. If I ________ (get) lost, I __________ (ask) someone the way.
2- A: Can you tell Sally I won’t be here tomorrow?
B: OK. I ___________ (tell) her if I _________ (see) her.
