Safety precaution
Be sure to read these instructions before using the equipment
This manual should be kept at hand for future reference.
Make sure to deliver these instructions to the end user.
This sign indicates that improper handling can cause unit malfunctions, electric shock and fires.
Always follow the instructions for your own safety.
Do not use the unit in any of the following places. Doing so may cause malfunctions or a reduction in service life.
● Places where the ambient temperature exceeds the temperature
range (-5°C to 50°C)
● Places where the daily average temperature exceeds 35°C
● Places where the humidity exceeds the humidity range (30% to
85%RH) or where condensation occurs
● Places with a lot of dust, corrosive gas, salt or oily smoke
● Places with a lot of vibration or impacts
● Places where the unit may be exposed to rain or drops of water
● Places exposed to direct sunlight
● Places where metal pieces or inductive substances are laying
around
● Places with strong electromagnetic field or much outside noise
● Places higher than 1000 m above sea level

● This instrument should be installed and used by a qualified
electrician.
● The instrument must not be powered and used outside the panel.

● When the external terminals are connected to the external
equipments, the instrument and the external equipments must not be
powered and used outside the panel.
● The rating of the terminal of the external equipment should satisfy
the rating of the external terminal of this instrument. (See
Specifications.)
■ Operation instructions
● Do not touch the terminals when there are circuits connected to
this instrument in a live state.
● Do not disassemble or modify the instrument.
● Do not keep wipe in contact with the surface or use benzene,
thinner or alcohol.
● Wipe the dirt from the surface with soft dry cloth.
● Check the following points.
Check the product for damage
Check the display for damage
Check for abnormal noise, odors and heat generation
Check for loose fittings and loose wires
When storing the unit for a long time, avoid keeping it in the places shown below. Doing so may result in failure or a decrease in service life.
● Places where the ambient temperature is out of the range from
-20°C to 60°C.
● Places where the humidity exceeds the humidity range (30% to
85%RH) or where condensation occurs
● Places with a lot of dust, corrosive gas, salt or oily smoke

Places where the unit is exposed directly to rain, water droplets or sunlight
● Places where the daily average temperature exceeds 35°C

● Places with a lot of vibration or impact
● Places where metallic particles or inductive substances are laying
around

● The instrument must be mounted on a panel. All connections
must be installed inside the cabinet.
● Tighten the terminal screws to the specified torque and use the
suitable pressure connectors and suitable wire size.
● Connect the wires carefully, checking the wiring diagram. (see
page 15~17)
● Be sure there are no outside substances such as sawdust or
wiring pieces inside the instrument.
● Do not drop this instrument from high place. If you drop it and the
display is cracked, do not touch the liquid crystal so it does not
get into your mouth. When you touch the liquid crystal, wash it
away at once.
● To prevent noise, do not bunch the control wires or
communication cables with the main circuit or power wire, and do
not install them close to each other.
Keep appropriate distance between communicational signal lines/
input signal lines and power lines/ high voltage lines as shown
below, when run parallel to each other.
