A. INTRODUCTION 1. Introduction of our assignment
First of all, we would like to thank the teachers of English for Tourism who guided and taught us to complete this research. Through this research, we hope to contribute a small part to exploiting the tourism potential of the Vinh Phuc province.
Our group consists of four members: Pham Thi Huyen., Bui Ngoc Minh, Tran Phuong Trang, Ly Thi Trang.
Under the extremely enthusiastic and dedicated guidance of Ms. Dinh Thi Hong Ngoc, we had basic and practical knowledge about the module ''Tourism English”. To take the final exam of the English for Tourism module, our group decided to choose Vinh Phuc as the destination we will research and learn about. Hopefully through this article, people will know more about Vinh Phuc tourism, promoting tourism here.
Vinh Phuc is currently a destination attracting many tourists who want to explore, visit and experience. This place not only has amazing landscapes but also historical and cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage recognized on the UNESCO list. Vinh Phuc is considered an ideal destination for short vacations, helping visitors "temporarily leave" the rush of everyday life. The reason why our group chose this destination is

Trang 6
because we want to exploit and develop the destination, approaching not only domestic tourists but also wanting to promote the natural beauty of majestic nature to foreign visitors. With a favorable geographical location and mild weather combined with the beauty of mountain and forest nature, Vinh Phuc is expected to be a potential tourist destination in the future, promoting the country's tourism industry. To learn more about the destination, our team went deeper and exploited it’s strengths and weaknesses, it’s tourism potential and suggested a suitable tour program for a certain group of visitors
2. Introduction of the destination:
2.1. Introducing Vinh Phuc
Vinh Phuc is a province in the Red River Delta, about 55km north of Hanoi. This place is blessed with many natural resources, a province that can be said to be almost unaffected by natural disasters, and many beautiful places. When mentioning Vinh Phuc, we often remember the misty Tam Dao, "miniature Da Lat," the blue Dai Lai lake, and many famous destinations such as Truc Lam Tay Thien Zen Monastery, traditional craft villages, and festivals. Festival of the San Diu people... Vinh Phuc is always an ideal place to rest and relax on weekends because its fresh, cool atmosphere is maintained all year round.

2.2 Tourism potential
2.2.1 Natural tourism potential
The terrain of Vinh Phuc province is very rich and diverse, including parts of low and medium mountainous terrain as well as plains. The Tam Dao mountain area, with a national forest covering an area of about 15,753 hectares and reaching an altitude of 1,591 meters above sea level, is an outstanding attraction.
This land captivates visitors with its majestic, poetic beauty and cool, refreshing air. The village landscape adds to the picturesque setting, characterized by rice fields interspersed with bamboo fences. This combination creates a brilliant, colorful scene but still retains the ancient, mossy beauty of traditional Vietnamese communal houses and pagodas. These architectural gems are often hidden under a protective canopy of ancient trees, contributing to an atmosphere of historic charm. Two notable village gates, Phu Hau and Lap Thach, mark the entrance to the villages and offer a glimpse of the area's rich cultural heritage. These gates serve as thresholds into villages, displaying distinctive architecture and cultural elements that have endured before.

Trang 8
About the climate, with a humid tropical monsoon climate, it is suitable for tourism. Spring in Vinh Phuc has warm weather, sometimes with a drizzle; spring rain is suitable for sightseeing and leisure activities, associated with many festivals, pilgrimages to temples, and landscapes. Summer temperatures here are not too hot. In mountainous areas, it will be cooler and is often chosen as a place to avoid the hot summer sun. Fall comes, and basking in the not-too-harsh sunlight and gentle breeze here is extremely romantic and poetic. In winter, the weather is cold, dry, and sunny.
The province has many rivers and lakes that are exploited for sightseeing, relaxation, and entertainment purposes. The Red River system includes two large branches: the Da River on the right bank and the Lo River on the left bank. Dai Lai Lake and Xa Huong Lake have a harmonious combination of wide, clear water surfaces and natural landscapes, creating a charming landscape full of life.
Because this place is characterized by a humid tropical monsoon landscape, the flora and fauna here are very rich. Tam Dao National Park has about 2,000 species of plants and 840 species of animals, many of which are endemic and rare. This place also has the largest bear rescue center in Vietnam, located in the Chat Dau valley of Tam Dao National Park. There are many different species of bears that have been rescued and cared for here, known as "Paradise for Bears.".

Trang 9
5
Therefore, this place has great potential to develop tourism and form entertainment resorts. Tam Dao tourist area, honored as the world's leading tourist town in 2022, is an ideal resort. Nature has bestowed many valuable tourism resources on Vinh Phuc, including lakes: Dai Lai, Bo Lac, Van Truc, Thanh Lanh, Xa Huong, Vac Lagoon, and Rung Lagoon. In addition, Hai Luu and Dao Tru stork gardens are also associated with countryside tours.
2.2.2 Cultural tourism potential

The second is the local traditional festivals: the Tay Thien festival, the buffalo fighting festival, the Thinh temple festival, the mat stealing festival, etc. Besides, unique folk songs and folk dances such as Singing Drum Quan, singing Soong Co, singing Sinh Ca,... are also a bright spot that highlights the cultural identity here.

Trang 10
Next are handicraft products, famous traditional craft villages such as Huong Canh pottery village, Thanh Lang carpentry village, Vinh Son snake village, Ly Nhan blacksmith village, Hai Luu stone craft... always a source of pride. . The pride of indigenous people is the work they do every day to earn extra income, and it also contributes to adding value to the local tourism industry.
Finally, there are unique folk games and many specialties imbued with the local colors of Vinh Phuc. This is also an attractive destination for tourists to experience and visit.
